Re: What other world themes would you like to see?

I would love to see a Lava/Volcano world. Yeah, pretty basic theme but I always like that kind of levels. A world inside a human body would be interesting too...

Re: Is Yooka-Laylee the True Spiritual Successor of Banjo-Kazooie? (SURVEY)

For me is a BIG YES. It has everything that made Banjo great. I cant believe there are Banjo fans who dislike it. Its a true love letter to those old Rare games <3

You should use the shield, its the best option. I really enjoyed the last boss fight, it was hard at first but memorable.

Re: Rextro and kartos

Rextro games were really easy. A couple of them took some time but mostly they were easy Pagies. Kartos was hard in Worlds 3, 4 and 5. Its nice to have some challenge though, so I am ok if they return in future games.

I didnt needed one. It took me around 28 hours to get 100% + secret collectables. I love the game so much!

I used keyboard only (No mouse except for the special abilities) and I enjoyed it 100%! But yeah, they should add an option to actually change the controls...

Re: Yooka-laylee is better than bk,bt,dk64?

@FailureFactory Some of us don't find the DK64 level design to be flawed, speak for yourself. I find it quite strange that Zelda has been getting glowing reviews when it has one of the largest, most wide open and barren game worlds I've ever seen. YL's maps are basically the size of DK64's and Tooi...

Same here, I totally ADORE this game <3 One of my all time favorites for sure. The worlds are beautiful, full of detail, and big :D (I ll take bigger worlds over small any day). Like the achievment said: Size matters lol The hub world, specially Shipwreck Creek, is so charming and full of life. And ...

Re: Yooka-laylee is better than bk,bt,dk64?

Yes I like Yooka Laylee more than Banjo Kazooie. It has everything that I love in a platform game, and it is more similar to Banjo Tooie (a good thing for me). I hope Playtonic makes a sequel for it, I would be very sad if they dont.

Re: Yooka Laylee is Nostalgia Gone Wrong

Disagree strongly, I still like Banjo Kazooie and Tooie over Yooka Laylee and there are clear reason why. I recently played several other platformers, one in particular I never played had that samey vibe "Psychonauts" now how can that be nostalgia when I never played it before? Yooka Layl...

I died a lot in that part but I agree, having challenge is great.
Other hard parts in the game for me: First boss, Planker mission in Moodymaze Marsh, Minecart segments in worlds 3 and 4, finding the red ghost writer in Galleon Galaxy.

Re: How would you rank all 5 worlds from best to worst?

I guess the Ice world is the least liked in general though... Ironically, when I watched the trailer of that level, I thought that this world had a high chance of becoming my favorite world. I still think that it's visually phenomenal, but there's too much I don't like about it. Oposite for me: I u...

Re: Yooka-Laylee: General Discussion Thread

I love how people say the worlds are "lifeless" and with few NPCs. They should replay the first Banjo game. There were really few NPCs overall in that game. Tooie had more though.
