It could be Yooka-Toolee.

Re: Lessons Playtonic shouldn't learn from Yooka Laylee

Don't listen to the paid reviews who were paid to hate on Yooka-Laylee. Yooka-Laylee is a great game. We all know the fair reviews honestly reviewed the game.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - A discussion

As we all know the first game on the Nintendo Switch to feature Grant Kirkhope's work is Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. I want to firstly make a quick comparison between this and Snake Pass which featured David Wise's talents. Both Grant and David are masters of their musical craft, it seems UBIsif...

Re: "Spit 'n' Polish" website update (improvements coming, Switch version definitive version?)

Basically, a major update is coming to the game, specially one that improves many things that people criticized the game for or requested the game should have, up to and including going through dialogue faster, skipping cutscenes, adjusting the sound on the character voices, and most notably, impro...

Re: GameXplain - Yooka-Laylee's Patch

I'm sorry, I just can't get behind what you're saying. I can't get behind what you are saying either. You seem to be ignoring the facts here. Jim's reviews are pure entertainment and to that end they do a good job. Even I laugh at some of them. gameXplain hate Yooka-Laylee and are bashing it quite ...

Re: You know what's awesome?

Jim Sterling thought differently I guess. I haven't read his review, but I hope the stamina bar wasn't one of his complaints and a reason for why he gave YL a 2/10. Jim's reviews are pisstakes done for the entertainment value, not to be taken as serious reviews. Then why are his reviews allowed on ...

Hello everyone, So, my name is Chris. I am an editor at GamesIndustry.biz Real editors would not fish for information. They would do their own research, then cherry pick out the parts of that, which fit to their agenda, then go and publish that. If there's not enough facts to fit their agenda, lyin...

Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, aka bitter, anti-social, Britsh-born Australian prick, reviews Yooka-Laylee in the latest Zero Punctuation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThX6cIb1mss You know, this review wasn't what I was expecting, and honestly, Yahtzee does raise a good point about the inconsi...

If that is true, then they could at least update the track names now. Leaving them like this is just a horrible mess.

Re: Update is 6x the size of what comes on the disk! WHY?!

The issue is not the update itself. That's fine. With big games like this you have deadlines for the disc to go gold, but work on the final game still goes on, hence a day 1 update. The issue is years down the track when you want to play this ans re-install it, will the patch still be around on a se...

The YL soundtrack, track names are so bad

For the older games like DK64, BK, the DKC games, etc etc, all of the soundtrack names were cool. Examples are: ⋅ Fear Factory: DKC ⋅ Stickerbrish Symphony: DKC2 ⋅ Mining Melancholy: DKC2 ⋅ Sub-Map Shuffle: DKC3 ⋅ Krematoa Koncerto: DKC3 ⋅ ...

Re: GameXplain - Yooka-Laylee's Patch

I think you're confusing Ash's review with Jim Sterling's because go back and watch his video, he DID say he liked the stuff that were throwbacks to Banjo-Kazooie . I think you're being needlessly angry at Ash for no reason, if I may be frank. I did NOT mix up both reviews. I spoke up about Ash's r...

gameXplain are just cherry picking out parts of the game they can purposely make look bad. They reside to let up on their hatred of this game. I am sure most people, gameXplain also get the bubble thing to work perfectly. But they have to intentionally mess it up and lie about it so they can stick t...

Is the the same soundtrack that is given out in the kickstarter? The digital versions of the soundtrack I have received both. I didn't expect to get a digital version from the Kickstarter also. Both digital versions are 100% the same. Well apart from the artwork being slightly different but all the...

Re: GameXplain - Yooka-Laylee's Patch

Ash Paulsen of GameXplain did a review for the game, and while he loved the game at it's core (with some minor criticisms about bosses and the implementations of some aspects like the mini-quizzes, minecart rides, and mini-games), the massive number of framerate drops made the game really difficult...
