Take a moment to appriciate N64's longevity.

I would just like to take a moment to thank the nintendogods for creating a console that is still working 20 years later with controllers that are 20 years old and still working (even if the the joystick is a little wobbly). And all of my cartridges are still working too! Can't say the same for my H...

Re: When are we going to hear more music?

Well the worlds need a theme before Grant and David can start composing the right music to fit, but I kind of hope we only hear a couple snippets before the release. The feeling when you enter a world for the first time and the music starts is amazing and I don't want it to be ruined by me knowing w...

Re: Team17 Partnership

Great news. :) I'm not too fussed about a physical copy, but I guess it could be really profitable if parents see a cute looking game on the shelves and are not sure what to buy their children for Christmas. This. I think physical releases are kind of important to a games success. Especially as an ...

Re: Things that you DO NOT want in this game.

Interconnected Levels. Collectibles that are lost at death. (looking at you, notes from Banjo-Kazooie!) Lifes. (REALLY outdated concept) I liked the interconnected levels, but I can see why some don't and wouldn't be terribly upset if they were taken out. The collectibles lost on death is something...

Re: I'm Playing Banjo-Kazooie...

I would advise paying for it on xbla, a much smoother and polished experience. Ehhhh I wouldn't, your note score doesn't reset on death which I think is a very important part of the game. Nothing was quite as satisfying and relieving as getting the last note in the engine room, I really wish they h...

The 80/20 thing is just a lie. Maybe MAYBE 5% of the total time playing is platforming for mumbo crates in the hub world and that is a very generous maybe.

Re: What did you like about BK?

One thing that I loved about BK that I never see mentioned was having a note score/ notes re-appearing upon death. It gave consequence to your death and was really the hardest part of 100% the game. I'm actually pretty bummed they took it out of the XBLA version. The feeling of relief and satisfacti...
