Re: FINALLY - Switch release date!!!

Im so happy with the decision of giving backers the ability to not just predownload the game but to play it inmediatly after downloading!

Glad to see something like that implemented as a backer benefit!

Props to Playtonic for making this happen!

Re: FINALLY - Switch release date!!!

Yes, please. I don’t know much about digital distribution, but that doesn’t sound impossible either! Sounds very possible to me specially how YouTube channels like GameXplain that have bashed the game previously might end up getting a review copy a week before launch. Oh that would be neat if they ...

Re: Yooka-Laylee 2

How would you guys feel if Playtonic jumped into unreal engine for the next game? Seems to be working on all platforms by now. I support this idea very strongly. Unreal seems to be the best fit from this point going forward. Or what about Snowbite? Mario+Rabbids used that one. Exactly! We have seen...

Re: FINALLY - Switch release date!!!

The only thing I would love now is to have my backer code the day PRE-DOWNLOAD starts that way I just have to download a bit of information on luanch day! But if as backers we could get a code like the ones given for review copies early... OH MY KING JINGALING that would be so awesome! I really hop...

Re: How The Chameleon met the Bat

I guesd this would be nice way to have a game a la Banjo-tooie having new abilities based on each caracter would be nice! That's an Even BETTER Idea then what I had in Mind; Especially since It would allow for Yooka to have his OWN Moves that he wouldn't have had with Laylee on his head(aka ...

Re: Yooka-Laylee Collector’s Boxie

I really want to buy it! Been trying already but the item can't be shipped to P.O. Boxes. At least the ones that need to have numbers on the name of the person information. Not all the fanbase is located in the US. I know there is an option to send it directly to your country but the national post o...

Re: YL Switch Speculation Thread

I finally see why people stopped coming to this forum: we are given so little to talk about! This is why the place becomes a den of negativity. I have hardly been to the site in the last two or three weeks, and I've been perfectly fine. But coming here, waiting day in and day out for the hopes of n...

Re: Project Ukelele's chronological relation with the Banjo-Kazooie series

Think of this situation: One of the latest Final Fantasy video games (Final Fantasy XIII) used to be an exclusive to the PlayStation 3. But what happened? They expanded their range to the Xbox 360. So it is possible to allow Banjo to be on other platforms. And especially where GamerGate has taken b...

Re: Ambient Noise in Video Games

I definitely love the ambient noises in those games and actually asked Grant Kirkhope if he would be using them for Yooka-Laylee. His answer at the time was a resounding no but I haven't been able to play the game to finally confirm if it was or wasnt included in the spiritual successor. I hope we g...

Switch version before or after E3?

Just a quick Poll I would like to run. By the time it seems a bit more and more possible that Yooka-Laylee might be announced for the Nintendo Switch on E3 2017. Do I have any conclusive proof of this? No I dont, but I guess we would have heard some kind of noise by now if it was going to be reveale...

Re: I've Played Yooka-Laylee: My Thoughts (Spoiler-free)

I'm pretty sure that if you loved it and if you are being 100% honest here then I'm going to love it too! Because we have realized most if the people in the forum have very similar tastes and a preconception of what a "rare" game is. I can only say it was nice from Playtonic to let you pla...
