Re: Wishes For Twooka Laylee (Non official name)

some things i want to add maybe some are allready mentioned: 1. no more repeatable (ring) challenges 2. more character variety and uniqueness for each world 3. shortcuts like warppads (easier to backtrack) 4. if there will be again some physics puzzles like those golf challenges please with better p...

Re: What animals or objects would you like to see designed by Playtonic?

Yeah I really like those silhouetes too wondering in which games they will be shown.
I would also love to see a manhole cover character, a candlestick, a sniffy wineglas filled with red wine, gargoyles, a burger and bag of fries and other food based characters :D

Re: Ideas for worlds

Damn I have soo many ideas so I decided to make a small list: CINEMA world like I have posted before -> very rundown grindhouse cinema, spiderwebs in every corner, old carpets on the floor, arcade hall, 3 main halls with each have another horror movie theme. MEDIEVAL world -> since Yooka-Laylee have...

Re: Ideas for worlds

How about this world: Could you imagine a world set in a cinema with popcorn and all that stuff and with three cinema halls and each hall has got his own theme but all are kinda like low budget b-movie horror films. The main characters must watch to the screen with 3-d glasses to get warped in to th...

Re: Playtonic's next project

Project Urchin would be cool as well as spiritual successors to all of the other Rare titles like DKC, CBFD, Goldeneye/Perfect Dark etc. And I am really done with the Banjo-Kazooie series ... for me the real third part of the series is Yooka-Laylee. Microsoft just destroyed this wonderful series and...

Re: Crank The Weasel

I heard Rare canceled this game back to ps2 games before rare was bought to microsoft. So I think now Crank the Weasel can be revived(ratchet and clank nexus was canceled on ps2 and revived for ps3).With all that 4k hd graphics. This could be next game after success of Yooka-Laylee launched on Xbox O...

Re: Playtonic forgot about the fine-tune

The capital cashino world looks great a little bit confusing because of the proportions but from the art design great ... another two things which are really bother me are the enemies ... there are only 2 different types of enemies small ones and those orange colored bigger ones ... but all those sm...

Re: Playtonic forgot about the fine-tune

My problem is that the most developers nowadays try to make open world games ... and the most of them fail ... theres is allways a big open world but with noo content, no activities or varietys ... mostly there is nothing to do and i think its a bad idea to make a 3d platform more like an open world...

I really hope the boss battles will be like in Banjo-Tooie. The first boss in the jungle world looks kinda lame and not well designed.

Re: Yooka-Laylee Multiplayer REVEAL TRAILER

Why the hell they separate those two things ? Arcade games and 8 "unique" multiplayer games ? I reall hope there are more content than just those 8 arcade/multiplayer games. In my opinion they look too simple kind of heartless like they thought not to make new multiplayer games from scratc...

Re: Yooka-Laylee Multiplayer REVEAL TRAILER

I thought they would make one arcade game for each world (I also thought the arcade games would be more like traditional arcade games and also with 8bit graphics) and 8 additional multiplayer games separated from the arcade ones. I really hope it is just an option to play the arcade games with frie...

Re: What Other Retro-Revival Icons Would Like To See in Yooka-Laylee along with Shovel Knight?

Guacamelee's Juan would be awesome. Maybe its not a retro-revival but a revival to the 2d metroidvania games and the game has also plenty retro game references and easter eggs.

Same thing with Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Perfect Dark Zero is not the right successor no but the Timesplitters
was the right successor. Sadly the fourth installment was canceled but still ... the Timesplitters series where all the real successor to Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.

I dont even want to think about Banjo-Threeie ... for me Yooka-Laylee is the third installment of the series  Well I do. Before I die I want to see another Banjo-Kazooie game. And yooka laylee is not a replacement for me but an addition. Well ... I dont think one time there will be a Banjo-Kaz...

Re: Griff The Winged Lion "Kickstarter 3D Platformer"

But I think instead of copying other indie games like the most kickstarter projects it hast got his own style.
I know they try to capture the spirit of oldschool ps1 3d platformer but its the first indie game which do this.
