Re: VR support: Yes or No

as a vr developer, i can tell you its not as easy as just a tick box, you have to change the world to fit within vr, and from what ive seen, vr would not be a welcome fit into the world.

i think its really up to how fast they work on the game, if, when e3 rolls around, uk is looking good and playing well, then i dont see why not. but its hard to tell at this point

Re: Invulnerability? Is it still relevant?

In a new game, what's the consensus on moves that give the player invulnerability? Some games allow these means to be exploited which ruins the fun a bit but Banjo Kazooie pulled it off pretty well with Wonderwing (provided you didn't cheat and use the unlimited code :P ). wow i never thought about...

Re: Wii U first person controls please?

it might just be me, but ive never really liked first person ar games, i mean it was ok, and i cant think of a good example, the best time ive had was nintendo land, but that wasnt really fp, it was more just, sceentilt(still was amazing though) i think this type of game lends itself much better to ...

Re: Kart Racer Mini-Game?

i think thats a great idea, maybe theres a track for some of the actual game maps, like spiral mt track (since we dont know any areas yet). it also wouldnt be half bad to be in the game, like the minigames in bk (specifically the racing onces). i think it would be really cool, and i always love an e...

Re: What platform(s) do you want to see Project Ukulele on?

Definitely on the Xbox one. I'm tired of Last Gen!!!!! And even more, 3D platformers better achieved on consoles!!! LET'S GO ON PS4 and XBOX ONE!!! WiiU/3DS/Vita are part of gen 7? So DS/PSP/Wii were part of PS2/Xbox era? O.o No. The last 3 generations were comprised of Gen 8: Wii U, 3DS, Vita, Xbo...

Re: Revealing Content Before the Release.

[quote="Taylor"is that it's supposedly very easy to port on many different platforms.[/quote] thats true, but they have to get the game to run of 1gb of ram, (2 if there pushing it), so while unity is super useful for porting, it is still a hard time making it play nice with the different ...

Re: Revealing Content Before the Release.

Just throwing this out there: I think a Wii U release is inevitable regardless of funding. I'm pretty sure to become a Wii U indie developer you simply fill out a form, send it off and (as long as you can produce a half-decent game, which Playtonic clearly can) you get accepted. It's not a complete...

Re: Revealing Content Before the Release.

How so? I assume that any sales posterior to kickstarter will go into funding their next game. What if the WiiU version was a stretch goal that wasn't reached, would they ignore that? well they have said, that if they dont make stretch goals, and people really want it, for example wiiu version, the...

Re: Revealing Content Before the Release.

The thing about early access is that it gives the developers more funding for the game. Also an army of beta testers. Ending with a better end product. saying that, more != better, alot of the time i see the bigger the beta testers the more irrelevant the information you get becomes, its a double e...

Re: Revealing Content Before the Release.

I do agree with this in the sense that releasing tons of alpha/beta/early access versions would literally ruin the hype of the final game. When the final release does come around, 90% of it would have already been seen in the pre-releases. It'd be a case of nothing new, nothing exciting, in a way. ...
