Re: FINALLY - Switch release date!!!

You want me to talk(/nag) about other stuff? Are you 100% sure? Well there's always the fact that there's no physical version confirmed yet... :D Also I just read some comments on another Switch release date announcement article where someone called it " Yooka-Delaylee " - must admi...

Re: We Seem To Still Be Waiting

Now the real question is when can we expect to get the first DLC. We get the initial Switch version, but when do we get the Switch + first free DLC that backers paid for version? I assume that "major patch" is what was DLC for the other systems. But that's not DLC for Switch. That's like ...

Re: Yooka-Laylee 2

He asked for titles, I gave him titles. Of course he can have his own opinion(s), but all the games the I summed up are generaly known to be better than YL (go look up the critic review scores on Metacritic). + It's not only the resolution that makes a game 'more beautiful'. A turd with a pink bow ...

Re: We Seem To Still Be Waiting

What a timing for that thread: The game finally comes to the Switch on December 14th, contains an own achievement systems, the major patch, more optimization with the help of both Nintendo and Unity and will run with 900p in docked mode (and 600p in handheld mode, which wouldn’t matter, since Mario+...

Re: We Seem To Still Be Waiting

They should give another evidence that they’re still on it. I don’t doubt their explanation with the Unity issues, but it doesn’t help against the bad feelings we have when it’s yet another few months after the latest update. I want this to end, too.

@Rueckkoppler Uhm... So the truth may not be told? I'm right. Aren't I? + I do give him advice, while your comments are completely off topic. Think about that for a while. ;) Didn't I tell you to stop being a dick in another thread? Didn't you want to leave the forums for good? Twice? How am...

Re: Any update about dlc?

Guess that one has to wait until they finish up the Switch version, I assume. Or some parts of the team already started with the development. If you consider how big the team is by now, porting might not require all of them.

Re: Still experiencing Captial Cashino glitch? (PS4)

Sorry to hear that man. The forum is nearly dead and PTG isn't going to help you either... If I could tell you what the solution is, I would, but I don't know either. Alright, time stop making me see your posts (for anyone interested, use the "add foe" feature), you're helping no one with...

Re: GameXplain: Super Mario Odyssey Discussion Brings Up Yooka-Laylee

The comparisons are useful but not quite fair. Mario Odyssey is a AAA game with over two hundred (200!) devs working for nearly 4 years on an practically unlimited budget. Yooka Laylee was made by an average of like 12 people over 2 years. That’s not to say Yooka couldn’t have been a better game, b...

Re: GameXplain: Super Mario Odyssey Discussion Brings Up Yooka-Laylee

If we use a spark to describe creativity and effort, Mario Odyssee is a nuclear explosion. I’m not in the slightest bothered by the lower difficulty, too: It’s just too much fun traversing these worlds. And it’s seriously mind blowing how much they put in them. Playtonic certainly don’t have the cap...

Re: Bye bye, Miiverse!

Whereas the Switch uses Facebook or Twitter instead, which I don't like because I don't want to be spamming all my non-gamer friends on Facebook with my game screen shots, so I made a Twitter account just for my Switch posts, but since I don't have any friends on Twitter (because I do not really wa...

Half the reason these forums are dead are, frankly, because people have said they are sick of reading your crap. Yeah, it certainly has to do with that. Accept it. PTG f'ed up and the hype is dying fast. Whether you like it or not. :) It's a shame... Oh and btw... You're the one who's going W...

Nice try. One thing tho. :) You're trying to improve the situation while you can't. That's a fact, 'cause 'positive thinking/talking' and 'white knighting' doesn't get you anywhere & that's literally the only thing you guys (try to) do. The fans/followers can do NOTHING. Only PTG can do somethi...

Re: Y-L ... disappointment

Saying your constant whining is annoying =/= saying Playtonic doesn't deserve criticism But I guess some people can't tell those apart. An allegory: We're on a sinking boat and you're the one guy constantly screaming "We're sinking!!!" at the top of his lungs while the rest of us try to i...

Re: A Hat in Time - Indie 3D Platformer

Yes, at the latest. I didn't get a response so who knows when exactly.

Yes that might be, but I'm mostly talking about the game entry in my Steam library. The beta vanished and I saw the Speerun-Event-build there, before that changed into the full game from what I can see.

Yes and I’m looking forward to this one like crazy! I backed for the N64 box, but I also have the beta on Steam which turned into the real game apparently... looks like I’ll be ready for it’s unlock  I was also confused my Beta was turned into the full version, although Humblebundle is app...

Re: Funding the Next Game

And then release the game day one on all platforms, now that they're getting the hang of the most recent newcomer, the Nintendo Switch. The Switch will never get the game on day one because it takes so much extra effort to downgrade a game enough to run on it. Playtonic is a small independent studi...

Ahww man.. I really didn't want to comment on this forums anymore... I'll keep it short. More people read than post in these forums right now, especially ...
