Will Captain Blackeye be the antagonist in Sea of Thieves?!

This is amazing! I think Steve Mayles may have scaled down Laylee's nose a bit, which I love. Here's an old pic and tell me if you think they trimmed the nose down a bit from the top and bottom: http://www.sanitarium.fm/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/yookalaylee.jpg http://imageshack.com/a/img661/4311/...

Re: DLC discussion

Everyone has been bringing up some great points. I guess when I hear about DLC so early in a games development, I have to ask the question "Why are you talking about extra downloadable content separate from the main game?" Whatever good ideas Playtonic may have now should be put into the m...

Re: Conker's BFD Commentary

It's a shame that Chris Seavor put this director's commentary for Conker's Bad Fur Day on hold, because he's too busy in making his new game called: The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup. Anyway, here's a list of info from the director's commentary part 1-12 for the people who prefer to read. ... Awesom...

Colors in Yooka-Laylee!

I saw this picture (http://i.imgur.com/G7fakbM.jpg) today and instantly thought of Yooka-Laylee on the left and all the recent AAA FPS games on the right. The game industry has been colorblind for too many years.

Just thought I'd like to share it with you all. :D

Re: DLC discussion

Screw DLC. I don't want it. I want them to make Yooka-Laylee a premium game like they said, and then I want Playtonic to use their talents and make another awesome complete game. DLC is a waste of time. If they want to add content then add it to the Yooka-Laylee sequel. I get your thinking, but DLC...

Conker's BFD Commentary

Hey I'm not sure if you Rare superfans have watched these videos yet, but here's Chris Seavor and some other Rare guys doing a playthrough of Conker's BFD: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbRUl7dkRVPKlYiUq4TmEaQ It's a bit rough around the edges and you can tell how they haven't played the game in ...

Re: Rare stepping up it's game

I hope so. It's kind of interesting to think about that type of competition. Rare in the 90s had different teams working on different games and the Banjo Kazooie Camp's intense competition with the Conker Camp is what I think pushed both those franchises to the max.

Re: Refill backer rewards...

The problem with adding more signed copies is that they're already having to sign 400 copies of the game . That's an insane number of signatures to do as it is. The reward just before that one has been increased four times now, but that reward doesn't require them to destroy their wrists. :p Honest...

Hey I saw that they'll be choosing the character for you, but I feel like if your voice has the right feel then you may find yourself with a memorable character. It really depends on what fits.

With all the great artwork surfacing in the Fan Art Attack, I felt the need to give credit to the music content creators already producing great work in Yooka-Laylee's honor. Please post here any music you find that covers, remixes, or pays homage to the new duo. I was thinking of putting this in th...

Why I believe Diddy Kong Racing was better than Mario 64

I realize that due to the fanbase of Playtonic that I may be preaching to the choir. But, outside our community I have felt that my position has been in the minority when comparing DKR to Mario Kart 64. I hope that by posting this I can have some input on ways to strengthen the argument or valid cri...

Re: Favorite worlds in BK, BT, DK64?

Click Clock Wood wins for Banjo Kazooie. I like all the seasons, but I guess I'd pick Winter as my favorite. You also forgot to put Freezeezy Peak in your list! For Banjo Tooie I loved Jolly Rodger's Lagoon. A completely underwater level was a huge deal to me, especially since I didn't have to worry...
