I always thought that the camera was one of the worst things in 3D platformers. Not because it bothers me, but I've had friends who stopped playing games like Banjo solely because of the camera implementation. I think it's crucial that Playtonic nails it down this time. So here's some feedback from the IGN's video:
It seems that the camera's height never change, and it is set to always keep the characters at the center. This is atrocious. It makes the camera bob up and down like mad every time the characters jump. Before anyone says that it's very early in development and they're still working on it... duh, no kidding! People seem to love reminding everyone about this every other minute on this forum. It shouldn't prevent me from giving some feedback and start discussions about it.
So what do you think?
