Passage of Time Between Games

Postby EekumBokum202 » Thu Mar 19, 2015 1:30 am

So, assuming Playtonic makes good on their word to create more games following a host of other characters, how do you think the passage of time would work?

The interesting thing about Rare games, or at least with Banjo-Kazooie and even from Donkey Kong Country to Donkey Kong 64, the events of the games passes in real-time. There was a 2-year gap between Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, and an 8-year gap between Tooie and Nuts & Bolts. Likewise, Donkey Kong 64 takes place 3 years after Donkey Kong Country 3, which is the exact amount of time between the two games' release.

If Playtonic does make more games... you think they'll keep that aspect with them? Think between Project Ukelele and whatever game Playtonic decides to make next, there will be a similar gap in time between the two games, and will that be reflected in-game?
