Isn't that what this entire board is for?

This thread is for the little things in the game that don't deserve their own threads, and posting impressions. Also, it keeps the forum from being cluttered.

Basically the countdown thread we have, especially as the game has released now. But thats okay, I might repurpose the countdown into a spoiler guideline topic.

Things I don't like?

That I have to wait for it to unlock, even though it's release day.

Yeah I think waiting for it to unlock was the first time I've actually been mad since the Kickstarter went live. I had a two hour window before work today to play it. Now I have work all day and grad school all night, then work all day tomorrow followed by the gym. If I'm lucky my next two hour window to play is 34 hours from now. Meanwhile streamers who didn't even pre-order have been streaming it since yesterday morning.

Couldn't agree more. Complete bull****. Especially considering the devs are English? Why don't they work on our time zone? I get off work early to come home to play... Only to have to wait 4 hours for basically no reason whatsoever.

I also did some bad math before my coffee. My next window to play is about 34 hours from now.

I'm sure there is a reason, it probably wasn't even Playtonic's decision. :(

Probably Valve, considering it seems odd to release at 5PM UK Time when they probably want to be leaving work. If I had to guess it has more to do with when Valve employees are getting in to work.

Yeah exactly, it's a Steam thing and out of Playtonic's hands.

Really loving the game so far! Got all the Pagies in TT and loved every one of them (minus Rextro's highscore...)
I do have a quick question though, without spoiling it-has anyone had any luck with the "secret" from the Toybox? There's several trees with a myriad of rocks and none of them seem to do anything...

Liking the idea of tonics. Being able to check and uncheck to suit my current needs is cool.

Ghost writers are a bit hit and miss.

Liking expanding the world's too.

I like how the Ghost writers have different challenges but the Red one is more frustrating than charming so far.
I'm on the fence about the expanding world mechanic, I've only done TT so far with it. I really like the idea, but you could clearly see dead ends and missing parts, so it was more of finishing what should have been there VS a new addition, but it's only the first world and it did add quite a lot of content.

No spoilers, but it's in a late-game world.

For one thing during the "Tutorial area" past Trowzer
you can walk up the Railing where the roll move needs to be used skipping that area entirely.
which should definitly be patched out. and that was the first idea i had when seeing it.

Ohhhh. That's a bit confusing as the first thing you see in the game is a pirate ship with trees and rocks, but that would also be to obvious. Thanks!
