There were a few pagies where I actually needed help. I just asked my girlfriend to look at walkthroughs and give me hints instead of plain solutions. :)

Glitterglaze Glacier:
- The pagie inside a movable block of ice... I had the right idea of moving it to the ventilation grid. I didn't understand that some of the floor plates where "stompable", though.
- Tubbz. I figured that he might be asking for "Buddy Bubble", but I didn't have the idea of not fully blowing them up to create more than one.
- The pagie that asks you to melt the iced lock of the cagie. I moved the ice block to extend the light beam, but I didn't know how to reflect it towards the cagie. I tried many moves including the sonar shield..., my problem was that I completely had forgotten about Camo Cloak since I rarely used it until that point.

Capital Cashino:
- The single token on the golf pole. From afar it looked like it was part of the pole.
- I tried to reflect the lasers in the vault with Camo Cloak but didn't know I had to duck.

I'm still playing world 5 and missing two pagies in Hivory Towers (including the one in the ventilation shaft) so there might be more I need to look up - I'm trying my best to 100% the game without help, though. ;) (Still hunting for world 5's "special" treasure... I hope to stumble upon it while questing but there are fewer and fewer pagies left for me to get :D )

btw... Is there a
pirate treasure
hidden in Hivory Towers too? Or are there only 5?

I got the game a week before release, so had to play without any walkthroughs; there were a few times I really wanted to use one, but obviously couldn't!

I will say, though, that persisting and completing the game without any outside help gave me a lot of satisfaction. It's great to finally solve a puzzle and get that 'a-ha!' moment.

I needed help for finding seven collectables and four pirate treasures. It wouldn't have been entertaining to keep searching for them, and two pirate treasures are almost impossible to find without help.

Missing 8 quills in Tribalstacks... I have all the moves and have searched the level carefully. Any ideas?

Try using the Hunter playtonic if you're not already. It'll whistle at you when you're near one of the last remaining quills. I'm gonna have to look up what to do in Glitterglaze Glacier. I'm still missing ten pagies there...

I looked up where the whistling in Hivory Tower's entrance came from and don't at all regret doing so, as there's not even the slightest hint (beyond the whistling) on what you need to do there. I also read where my last casino token was hidden here on the forums. Finally I looked up the energy extender in world 5 and the pirate treasure in world 4, which I think were both quite possible to find - I just didn't care too much about doing it all myself, anymore. Almost forgot, I also looked up the position of world 5's ghost writer.

It is my opinion that anybody saying they completed this game 100% without online help, is lying.

Hum... It's not impossible. At the very least, the Hunter Tonic faciliates the task quite a bit. The only thing that I think is unfairly hidden is the Hivory Towers lobby extender, because there's no hint what you need to do even when you follow the sound. The pirate treasures can be found by just flying around a lot.

The more time passes, the more people will find everything on their own. I mean, thinking back to Banjo-Kazooie, I remember spending days looking for an entrance to Rusty Bucket Bay's ship interior (I knew you could go in because it showed up in Bottles' minigame, which I found by dumb luck). I tried one window, it didn't work, and I never tried another one until dozends of hours later... So I assume this will happen with YL - at some point people will complete the 100% simply by trying everything they can.
