Crank The Weasel

I think its notable, that this game was inspired by Conker's Bad Fur Day but set in a crazy 1930 cartoony world,
accompanied by swing and jazz music. The main character is a thieving weasel tramp. Sadly this game have never saw the light of the day as it was produced by Midway and then it was cancelled. At least it should deserve a small place here in the forums. Here is a link to an info page about the game:

And as I searched for some content I found two short videos from the game (they was uploaded recently in February this year) ... this is the first time where we can see the game in motion !!!!!

Maybe this game will somehow be revived, because I think it looks just amazing and really deserves to exist and I really hope it will happen. It is also the right time for an forgotten genre like this (3d platformer).

Wondering how this could be revived - since Warner Bros swallowed up Midway after the latter went under, is the idea now owned by Warners?

Past glories is for Playtonics past glories, IE Rare classics.

I heard Rare canceled this game back to ps2 games before rare was bought to microsoft. So I think now Crank the Weasel can be revived(ratchet and clank nexus was canceled on ps2 and revived for ps3).With all that 4k hd graphics. This could be next game after success of Yooka-Laylee launched on Xbox One as physical and digital copies of units maybe in this year or next one, maybe?

This game was not even developed by Rare, it was developed by Midway (Mortal Kombat, Rampage).
But Midway is now bankruptcy and I dont even know who owns the rights from this IP. Since it was cancelled I am still hope this game could be one day released.

I really like the artstyle / design of the creatures. This is really something that needs to be made with today's technology. It could look beautiful, maybe even with a cellshaded look to further lean towards 30s cartoons.
