I mean, it happens. Back on the Rare forums around Nuts and Bolts I worked my way up to a moderator position that was basically right underneath the actual Rare folks just for being active and fairly friendly.

My ability to moderate these days definitely isn't what it used to be though, what with being a University student and all.

Moral of the story is the community will very likely start moderating itself in some capacity.
