Re: Which color did you choose?

Blue because blue is the best and anyone that says otherwise should be kicked off the planet.

Re: Transparency in crowdfunding: The real cost of making indie games

Someone sent me this yesterday. Aside from the fact that the whole thing reads like a jealousy article (specifically when they cite their own game) I actually think they've ignored a major factor in why big name kickstarters do better. Trust. Kickstarter, much like Steam Early Access, has earned a r...

Re: Who's to Blame?

I honestly think it's Rares fault. They did have creative freedom at first right? With grabbed by the ghoulies, perfect dark, nuts and bolts etc but these sold poorly so THEN Microsoft stepped in and made them a kinect studio. I just wish they had have made Banjo-Threeie back when they had freedom ...

Re: What have YOU pledged? POLL

Other games have used exclusive backer forums to give bonus info, soundtrack teasers, images, etc. My guess is they'd use it for the same purpose.

Re: Suggestion: Make Yooka Female

I think the real reason it doesn't matter is, as someone mentioned, it won't change dialogue or character. There are very few character traits that are restricted solely to one gender and I'm pretty sure none of them would alter the characters. I also remember in one video a Playtonic dev, sorry I c...

Re: [Stretch Goals] Update: 1.5Million Stretch Goal funded!

Being a complete game upon release that does not get updated with additional dlc later on is a feature of classic games. DLC is not a simple addition, in particular not, if it is already planned 17 months before release. Adding something is not disjunct from taking something away, in this case, add...

Re: What have YOU pledged? POLL

I pledged to voice a character. So stoked to work with the team. Congrats! I pledged to voice a character. So stoked to work with the team. Lucky you! Somebody's voted for the VIP, has anybody even pledged that one yet? Nope, kickstarter still shows 0 pledges for it. With the size likely a cable. :...

Re: What have YOU pledged? POLL

Sadly I don't have my old N64 these days. Would definitely be cool if they do, as you said for photos.

I am curious how it'll work as a USB flash drive though. Like will part of it flip out or will it have a USB port and come with a cable.
