So the GameXplain 50 Questions Q&A brought up issues with performance (both consoles and PC have frame drops from time to time) and the camera being "straight out of the Nintendo 64 era".
While I understand why Playtonic did it, I still think the backlash is worse than if they didn't do anything. It also feels like people on both sides are coming out of the woodwork to discuss this, civilly and uncivilly, who had no vested interest in this game before. I feel bad for Playtonic at the...
He has a point. "Very soon" can't be autumn. Exclusive developer? Nah, he meant something along the lines of a normal partnership between an indie studio and Nintendo. It's good enough if Nintendo supports them in a way to make quality ports an easier thing to do. I still assume they can ...
So it's not coming anytime soon (hello winter!) and looks like it has an absolutely atrocious framerate on Switch. Surprise surprise. I don't want to say I told you so, but I told you so. To be fair, if it is still early in the porting process, the framerate of the trailer shouldn't be telling of t...
I would be surprised if they showed it so soon. Miyamoto said that porting to Switch takes about a year, so it will probably be a winter title or 2018 on Switch. Another 3D indie Platformer, Snake Pass, only took a week to port to the Switch: https://mynintendonews.com/2017/02/09/video-snake-pass-d...

Discover great indie games coming to #NintendoSwitch! Do you ...
And what about PG's own updates, YT, FB, etc.? It's impossible to avoid spoilers. Simple as that. I know it'll be impossible to avoid all spoilers, but it'll be easy enough to hide their Facebook posts after April 11th and I don't follow them on Twitter or YouTube or whatever other social media the...
As someone who originally backed the Wii U version, I am super excited for it to come out on the Switch, mainly for one reason. This will be a portable version of Yooka Laylee. While it is sad that the Wii U version is dead in the ground, the excitement for the Switch version makes me glad that I do...
The only thing that I think that really needs to be tweaked is the camera. It would often readjust to awkward positions, and during some sections of the Toybox, it felt like i was fighting it. Also, for the three indoor rooms, I liked both the camera for rooms 1 and 3, though I did get confused at f...
I honestly feel that if there is another delay, (which is unlikely), it should be ported to the NX. If it isn't, I feel a port for the NX should be made down the line, with a discount available for people who kickstarted the game.
To be honest, I would much rather play it on the NX than the Wii U.
I would love to see an NX port as long as it doesn't hold back the release of the currently planned systems. It would be a nice bonus to see down the line.
