Re: What's Your Favourite Donkey Kong Game?

My personal favorite DK game is without a doubt DKC2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Back when I played this game initially, I only managed to get as far as to the 2nd lava world, Crocodile Cauldron, specifically the Red-Hot Ride stage with the air balloons needed to get across the lava because I was like 6 ba...

Re: Toybox feedback & discussion thread (SPOILERS)

I sadly didn't get the chance to fund this game, so unless I somehow can get to play the toybox before the release, I'll have to go with what footage people cover it on YouTube. (Thanks for the link by the way, Taylor) Game looks really gorgeous with it's graphical engine so far, and for a toybox ar...

Re: What is your favorite 3D platformer?

Nice summary of why Tooie is so great there, WyvernWings. And speaking of Mario Sunshine, I honestly love that game way more than Mario 64, which might sound blasphemous, but I honestly think that Sunshine ironed out the control scheme from the N64 predecessor to something that's really great to con...

Re: Toybox release date!

I hope it will be good news at the very least.

Do you guys have any thoughts on what the Toybox will be like? :?:

Re: Donkey Kong 64 Worlds

I remember that platforming part looking back and I actually agree that part was a real pain! I think one of the problems I had with Chrystal Cave is that I was forced to play the emulator version because my N64 is with my sister. On the latest version of the Project 64 emulator there's a glitch wh...

Re: What is your favorite 3D platformer?

My favorite 3D platformer is Banjo-Tooie. I'm well aware that from what I've heard, a good deal of fans prefer the original over Tooie because Tooie had a lot of backtracking involved to previous worlds or go through world-connected passageways just to get a specific Jiggy, but personally I didn't m...

Re: Donkey Kong 64 Worlds

That's interesting, you saying that. I got through Frantic Factory quite quickly (other than the arcade game) but I've never done so many circles around one level in my life than in Chrystal Caves! I love the level but it was by far the hardest and longest of levels for me. (unintended sex joke) We...

Re: Donkey Kong 64 Worlds

I voted for Crystal Caves because while at the start it is pretty darn annoying to dodge those stalactites that one gigantic viking Kremling keeps whacking down until you get rid of him permanently, I honestly adore the music the most out of all the worlds the game has to offer. Grant Kirkhope reall...

Re: Toybox release date!

I'm looking forward to opinions from people who will receive the Toybox. From what I've seen, the game looks really wonderful, but I'd like some first-hand experience opinions on it from the backers.

Also MrYoyo, I hope it'll be worth the wait for you! ;)

Re: Why isn't Yooka Laylee as talked about as Mighty No. 9 was?

I'm thinking it's because Mighty No. 9 had to live up to alot of expectations in the wake of Mega Man fans wanting a new game for so long that it's initial big hype and optimistic outlook just plunged into more cynicism with delay after delay for unclear reasons and a result of bad communication bei...
