Re: Banjo always did have his head in the clouds...

I dropped it onto the yellow square bit that you have to navigate around on the lower level. I used that yellow rail along the edge, with Yooka's body propping the ball up against it and walking it round. It was a hell of a balancing act, hence I failed a few times. I did think about getting a box, ...

Haha, I did that too. Gave up after the first attempt to inspect further, it seemed like such an obvious thing to do after spotting that chest!

Re: Toybox Experience: Should There Be An Ability To Grab Objects?

I just spent a ridiculously long time playing with the marble, my conclusion is that it works pretty well after you're used to it. I think there needs to be a little more precision in Yooka's movement, but that'll come with a full release. Boxes I would like to be able to grab, just because cardinal...

Re: Banjo always did have his head in the clouds...

Btw, have you seen L.O.G. yet? He is supposed to be in the game. When I ran the assets through an Unity extraction utility I saw several notions of tex_cloudface having pointers to Log_tex, ban_tex and kaz_tex (makes sense right?) Thing is the LOG one seems to have certain booleans that need to be ...

Re: Banjo always did have his head in the clouds...

... ? I can't see, how do I need to look? I tried to highlight the important bits to give a sort of general overview (it's not super-accurate, but you might be able to sort of see where to look a little better: http://i.imgur.com/PrMs5mG.png It's easier to see when it's zoomed out a little I guess...

Banjo always did have his head in the clouds...

Quite literally the stars of yesteryear, getting some Mufasa-esque vibes here... http://i.imgur.com/TMwhjot.png ...or is it just me ? I love this toybox so much. I really hope that I'm not seeing things... Edit: Somehow didn't notice that Kazooie was there on the left as well! http://i.imgur.com/Ir1...

I was so sure that I would find a secret here...

Oh well I guess, just chilling out on this bit of platform, hiding from the rest of the map. It's cool to see the undersides of that secret room I guess (^: http://i.imgur.com/77x7iD1.png This whole game is so pretty... http://i.imgur.com/O4zmgaH.png ...it took me way longer to make that jump than i...

Re: Let's Talk Swimming

I would love to swim faster, but apart from that, I thought that the height thing worked out super well. I normally find it difficult to navigate underwater in games, controls often make it difficult for any high level of precision (the camera can sometimes be to blame too). A 2D stick exploring a 3...

Re: Nostalgia in a box

The menu screen is what did it for me. Pressing start and seeing the faces next to the options made my breath catch.

The title screen and the things that recommend the gamepad and represent the save icon with the googly eyes too.

Re: Toybox feedback & discussion thread (SPOILERS)

Made an account for feedback! To chime in with everyone else, I really enjoyed the Toybox a lot. Not sure whether it was Toybox+ running or not (Steam says its installed, but everyone else seems to be waiting, I imagine the bit that ends with the SECRET is part of plus?), but I had a blast playing t...
