I think the first couple of hours should be everything we remember and love. After that i think it should evolve and develop into it's own identity.

I don't want too much backtracking. Tooie really was a bit too much for me -- I loved the game, but I LOVED Kazooie a little bit more. I don't mind backtracking for cool secrets and such, but I don't want to be forced to backtrack in order to move forward. I have mixed feelings. it was kind of cool...

I actually didnt mind the puzzles/races/events that take place outside the current would, so long as they are still in theme. It's just the generic ones such as the inside of a barrel that are not enjoyable. Ideally i think everything would occur within the world, and parts of the world being design...

I love co-op. I love split screen. But I'm more sure co-op would work by splitting up the Yooka-Laylee team. Perhaps another character/duo?

Hey I would love for them to add a "hard" mode if you beat the game. The hard mode could include -re-arranged paiges collectibles in the worlds -if you die, you must collect all the paiges in a world over again, like in BK 64 -npc's have different dialogue the second play-though -must 100...

Love the decayed dragon idea!

Id also love to see a "hard mode". After collecing certain collectables or perhaps beating the game bosses gain an additional phase?

I think you nailed everything!

Super mario galaxy really nailed the "hard mode" for people looking for a challenge but dropped the ball when it came to boss fights.

Maybe an extra hard-mode phase for people who collected all the hard objectives?

Usually learning new abilities would give you access to more of the level. Would collectables expand it in a similar way?

yeah i haven't decided yet. don't forget IS a chameleon and will be more dynamic (visually) than Banjo. Maybe they don't want cloths getting in the way?
