I recorded myself playing as Banjo in the Hub world with music turned off, I crashed into a wall repeatedly to hear all the Banjo sounds and then also the infamous muffled 'aaayyyyeeee'...

The sound isn't coming from Diddy Kong it is coming from Banjo, you hear the same sound even when your in the hub world and you crash into a wall as Banjo, all of banjo's sounds sound similar except for this one which is completely different

Ok then glad we cleared that up... it doesnt sound like Banjo at all though

Go to 5:12 and listen when Diddy overtakes Banjo, usually you hear Banjo's 'Crash' sound... but instead you hear a 'aaayyyeee!'
