Re: List 'o Ideas

For your next game you really need to integrate all of the collectables into future games. A good example is the ghost writers and the quills in Yooka Laylee. Lets talk about the Ghost Writers first. Why are we collecting them? No real reason. What do we get when we collect them? Just a Pagie Is the...

Huge skip discovered for speedrunning Banjo Kazooie

THis skip builds on the Furnace quiz board skips so almost the entire quizbpard and cutscene can be skipped.
Here's a video explaining it.

A fan remade Bramble Scramble from DKC2

A fan remade Bramble Scramble from DKC2 and in my opinion it looks and sounds amazing.
If a whole game remake looked and sounded like that, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Does Nintendo consider Playtonic Games an indie developer?

Does Nintendo consider Playtonic Games an indie developer?
If no then fine. However if yes, then Nintendo not showcasing Yooka-Laylee at the end of the most recent indie showcase was quite the disgrace to such a good game.

Nintendo's mixes of the DKC and DK64 games music in Smash Bros are horrrible

We all know the DKC trilogy and DK64 had amazing music. David Wise, Grant Kirkhope and co did an amazing job there. They took the limitations of the SNES and N64 consoles musically and worked wonders. Nintendo has since remixed many of these tracks for the different Smash Bros games. In almost every...

What does Playtonic feel about the Goldeneye and Perfect Dark speedrunning scene?

Are the Playtonic blokes happy that two of their best past games are still being played competitively to this very day?

Don't listen to the paid reviews who were paid to hate on Yooka-Laylee. Yooka-Laylee is a great game. We all know the fair reviews honestly reviewed the game.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - A discussion

As we all know the first game on the Nintendo Switch to feature Grant Kirkhope's work is Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. I want to firstly make a quick comparison between this and Snake Pass which featured David Wise's talents. Both Grant and David are masters of their musical craft, it seems UBIsif...

Re: "Spit 'n' Polish" website update (improvements coming, Switch version definitive version?)

Basically, a major update is coming to the game, specially one that improves many things that people criticized the game for or requested the game should have, up to and including going through dialogue faster, skipping cutscenes, adjusting the sound on the character voices, and most notably, impro...

I'm sorry, I just can't get behind what you're saying. I can't get behind what you are saying either. You seem to be ignoring the facts here. Jim's reviews are pure entertainment and to that end they do a good job. Even I laugh at some of them. gameXplain hate Yooka-Laylee and are bashing it quite ...

Re: You know what's awesome?

Jim Sterling thought differently I guess. I haven't read his review, but I hope the stamina bar wasn't one of his complaints and a reason for why he gave YL a 2/10. Jim's reviews are pisstakes done for the entertainment value, not to be taken as serious reviews. Then why are his reviews allowed on ...

Hello everyone, So, my name is Chris. I am an editor at GamesIndustry.biz Real editors would not fish for information.
