The more reviews I see, the less I become concerned. Out of at least 20 reviews only 4 are bad/scorching. And 1 is Jim Sterling, so I don't think that counts.

For every bad review, I find a good one, so that's something. This game genuinely aims at Banjo fans.

They should just make the toy box open access now. I put in my donation specifically for the advanced toy box and played it a few times, and it's fine, but I don't think it needs to be closed access anymore. I couldn't agree more with this. If the Switch is similar to develop for as other current gen consoles, I could possibly see a quicker turnaround, as the game's creation is done for every other system.

It's a bit later than I thought, but that gives me time to play other games/get burned out on Overwatch.
