Re: COUNTDOWN: Release Tomorrow!

I can't wait to download the game. Any idea when I'll be allowed to do that?

Re: Which platform of choice would you be playing Yooka-Laylee?

PC is winning.

I would make a sarcastic remark regarding this, but honestly not only was it totally expected but I voted for PC because I don't have any of the other systems.

Re: Splatoon references

The only references it should have are to Rare games.
Donkey Kong 64, the Banjo Kazooie series, Conker, and so on and so forth.

Otherwise it wouldn't make sense.

Re: And on the eighteenth* day they said "LET THERE BE IDLE ANIMATIONS!" And it was good.

On the topic of falling asleep, what about having some context based idle animations? I don't know how much work it would be but you could be next to a tree so they go over and sleep against it. You could also have them on a beach where they build sandcastles or on a rope bridge where Laylee tries ...

I kinda hope they add one where Laylee hangs upside-down off of Yooka's tail and falls asleep.

Re: The Jimquisition: When Publishers Kick, Developers Start

If game publishers don't get their act together, Jim Sterling is probably right: the best games you could buy will be crowdsourced on kickstarter.

Heck I too want Kojima to ask for crowdsource funding for the Silent Hills game that Konami unwisely canceled, renamed of course.

Re: Why Bloodstained is currently more successful than this?

Probably because Castlevania, IGA's creation, is a Konami published franchise, and Konami has been making some very stupid decisions lately, what with their firing of Hideo Kojima and removing his name from MGS5, cancellation of Silent Hills and removal of PT from the playstation store, and recent a...

Re: Genders have NOT been revealed

The designs of the characters do not look feminine or masculine, but the names both sound feminine.

Do genders really matter? Both could be male, both could be female, one could be male and the other female (and which one is which is interchangeable). Does it all matter?

the voices sound weird? keep in mind that its still in early development changes can occur...will occur Yeah for some reason people seem to not understand this. :/ Probably because people are too used to demonstrations of video games, be they in demos or trailers, that are better than the final pro...

Re: DLC discussion

As long as the DLC is something worthwhile like new levels/extended story and not anything that's just fluff like alternate character skins for Yooka and Laylee or a boss-rush (ok some people don't find boss-rushes to be fluff but I do), I will support it.

Re: Suggestion: Make Yooka Female

The main issue though is that Yooka is confirmed to be a boy. So if the make him a girl, Playtonic will have redo voice acting. And I love the voice acting at the moment. I dunno, the voice acting doesn't sound too good to me. Yooka sounds too raspy and old, and Laylee doesn't sound high pitched en...

Re: Here's Yooka Laylee's new stretch goals!

You know, I just got a new idea for a stretch goal: buy the rights to Banjo-Kazooie and release it on steam, hopefully alongside Yooka-Laylee. There could possibly be a Banjo-Kazooie/Banjo-Tooie bundle and a Banjo-Kazooie/Banjo-Tooie/Yooka-Laylee bundle, but there shouldn't be a steam release for Nu...

Re: Sonar and camouflage?

Ooh, I like the sonar idea, but camouflage...what would be the purpose? Unnecessary stealth section? Although, maybe if we add in something like sonar being able to detect hidden entrances that you have to figure out how to open, be it with a puzzle, ability, or something in the environment, that wo...

Re: Potential system requirements

Except I can't since I don't have any of those consoles. Oh, when you said you chose the steam code over the console code, I presumed you had the choice to get the console one and make use of it. My bad. As others have said before me, I don't think the game will be too intense! I do have a choice. ...
