Re: Other potential genres

A 3rd person sci-fi shooter. While there are lots of these, they are usually serious and boring. We need one with a great style and lots of fun. And a cheat code to turn all the enemies into a badly-drawn man wearing pants. The characters would be two humans and a cat. I like this idea. Ratchet and...

Re: What system(s) would you like to see this on?

I agree with many of you that having the game on just the Wii U might not be the best idea. While Rare's old games had a great home on Nintendo consoles, the Wii U's install base might not be enough to get Playtonic's games the attention they'll likely deserve.

Your Favorite Rare Games

This isn't strictly related to Ukulele, but the men behind these projects have made some of the most influential games in many of our lives. If any of them is monitoring this board, I just want them to see how many people they've impacted and in what ways. So let's hear it! What have been your favor...

Other potential genres

Playtonic mentioned during their presentation that they are planning on creating other characters to star in games based on other genres. We know that they have a great handle on platforming already, so what kinds of other genres would you like to see them try their hands in?

What system(s) would you like to see this on?

I for one would love to see this on both the Wii U and PC. My levels of nostalgia for games like this are very high and since the past games were all on Nintendo systems, my personal preference is that we see these new games on Nintendo systems as well.

What about you guys?

Very sneaky of you to remove the character from the screenshot posted here. I'm really excited for what little we've seen of this world and can't wait to see more!
