Re: lives or no lives?

I honestly do not feel the lives are essential at all to this genre. When I look at Kazooie and Tooie, the only thing that lives added was frustration and backtracking. They provide ery little benefit, and they only provide artifical, forced challenge to the games

Re: End-game Quiz/Twists?

I really liked the board game concept in Banjo Kazooie and I would not mind revisting the idea. It could be also used as a hot-seat/turn-based multiplayer mode if they used actual randomized dice rolls and replaced losing/gaining lives with missing a turn/getting an axtra turn. For example if you ge...

Re: Teleport Pads

I think there should be some fast-travel within the levels/world, at least if they are as big as the ones in Tooie. But I think it should be contextualited in way probably as a tunnel system and you have to clear/open every exit with some attack before you an use them. I think that would be better t...

Re: Random Ideas (Characters/Levels/Challenges/Etc.)

I came up with some ideas about split-up game mechanics, with the assumptions that one character is a lizard/chameleon and the other is some kind of bird. -The game should beging with a short prologue level where you control only one character and meet the other one. The villain hits you with some m...

Re: New themed worlds you would like to see?

One idea I had for a word was something with the four seasons like Click Clock Wood, but in an urban/downtown setting. It would be a few blocks of buildings, including at least one really high towering over the others that needs to climbed and also a park area with a lake. Maybe the level could be s...

Re: 3D Platformer(s) You Have Played Before

Another game I never really hear mentioned is Rocket: Robot on Wheels for the N64. It is probably the closets thing to the Banjo games, even more than Mario 64 or anything. It has a similar structure to BK, you have (I think) 6 levels that are connected through a hub world. You have 12 tokens (like ...

Re: Exclusive games on consoles

A lot of people sayy that Xbox player don't want games like that, but that is simply not true. It is just that Microsoft does not privide them such games. From what I have heard, Banjo Kazooie and Tooie are still very popular on Xbox Live Arcade. Xbox players may be me dismissed as dudebros/fartboys...

Re: Exclusive games on consoles

"Xbox literally murdered Rare and forced their children to watch." Microsoft did that. Not Xbox players Oh yeah, I meant Microsoft. Sorry about that. :) If there was any way to punish Micro$oft without punishing any gamers too, I would say go for it. But since there is none, I would say t...

Re: Exclusive games on consoles

"Xbox literally murdered Rare and forced their children to watch." Microsoft did that. Not Xbox players Xbox players should not be punished for the mistakes of the evil corporation that makes their games 30% more expensive and forces them to pay for online multiplayer. And be the same logi...

Re: What's the perfect balance of collectables?

There should be a good ratio of necessary and possible main collectibles(The equalient of Jiggies or Mario's stars). 94 out of 100 may be a little too much for me honestly. But the 70 out of 120 of Mario 64 is a little too low, as it meant that I could skip the clock and the sky levels of Mario 64 e...

Re: What platform(s) do you want to see Project Ukulele on?

As a PC gamer, PC would be the most important one for me.

But I think the games (an all the other games in the shared universe) should come to all existing consoles as well.

Re: Things that you DO NOT want in this game.

The thing I really do not want to see is Exlusivity to any console. I think this game should be released on every platform that can run it. I find it incredibly sad when gamers boast about how others can not play the same games because they have a different console or PC. That kind of thinking only ...
