Re: New video from Capital Casino... Bugs remain?

Now I'm really concerned. * Camera is still very low most of the time and the visual angle is awkward for a 3d platform game * Character movements are still really fast and, in addition with the bad camera, make the game very confusing and chaotic * Animations seems to be still very rudimentary, som...

Re: Ledge grabbing?

Definitely not!

I think it would make the game a lot easier. They just need to adjust a little bit the double jump.

Re: E3 trailer by Playtonic

The trailer is amazing! I've watched it more than 20 times already! Not going to argue for likeness, for its own sake but: There is something nice about seeing the recurring buildings in different settings with BK and BT. It increase visibility of the NPCs location and provide a nice landmark for th...

Re: About the worlds indoors/interiors

A Simple Request. Does somebody know if Playtonic's staff have already said anything, in any interview, about the Yooka-Laylee worlds having indoors/interiors/sub-levels? I would ask myself to the Playtonic team about this (yes, anxiety is eating away at me)... but I have no facebook, no twitter, no...

Re: New Screens! AND THEY'RE AWESOME!

I really like it that Yooka and Laylee enter worlds by entering gigantic magical books resting on shelves. And it's nice to see that the environments slowly begin looking more natural , as Playtonic makes progress in developing the game. My eyes are having a tough time accepting pink trees amongst ...

I would love a factory level or levels with different machinery segments like Rusty Bucket Bay.

Re: Do you like the scenery style?

At the moment IMO the game doesn't look bad at all, and I know they have made that in just three months of development but, if this game is going to be a homage to those classic 3d Adventure/Platformers games of the past, I'd prefer something a little more "Natural/Classic Rare", like this...

It's very simple:

"New Game">"Select Mode">

- "Classic Mode" (lives)
- "Casual/Modern Mode" (no lives)

About the worlds indoors/interiors

I think that one of the most characteristics and cool things about those classic 3D platformers that we all love like Banjo, SM 64/Sunshine or DK64 were the "worlds indoors/interiors" (some of them very ingeniously located) presented on a totally new and separate screen, like the sunken sh...

Re: Side-Quests

As has already been mentioned, in 3D platformers/collectathons like Banjo games, almost everything (except for the main collectible's percent required for beating the game) is side-quest. However, I think it would be cool if there is some kind of very long-super special side-quest with a super speci...

Re: Things that you DO NOT want in this game.

I don't want... - Linear/plane levels - Lack of challenge - Low or even null punishment for losing - Health regen - A GTA-like mini-map with mission/objective markers - Auto-saves - Checkpoints - Vehicles . DLC - Online elements on the main story mode - A gym to improve the stats of the character - ...

Re: World Theming

I mentioned in another thread if they had a world that was an homage to 3D platforming's roots. It would be cool if there was a world made of 64 bit graphics. Even better is if the two look like they were n64 characters for the duration of being in that world. This. I mean... texture stretching, bi...

Definitely no. I want a full game, just like old times. If you have more, then save it for the second one.
