Okay, I have some questions (I have the Toybox+): - What is the extra area added to the Toyboy+? - I can't seem to perform the Attack Combo. How and when to perform it & what does it look like? - Can you use the powers found in that 1 secret room & what is that human thingy in the bubble an...
Just played through the toybox (I have toybox plus) I did of course immediately make my usual tests I do in games. Testing the jumps, the fall speed, how the jumping works, responsiveness of the character. And I fell in love with this game immediately. Now the camera needs work and more options, it ...
I liked Jolly rogers lagoon a lot for how it was designed and how everything just seamlessly fit together and how they gave you unlimited air, the swimming itself was okay I guess, but it was still swimming. Being a sub was pretty cool for a bit, but really overall I liked the overland part of that ...
I've thought of it. But what about, say, a spooky level? When it changes to the morning, it'll totally lose all its atmosphere. Not sure how practical making a day/night cycle is for the entire game. Not necessarily, there could be a thick fog looming like in the first (?) silent hill, the one I pl...
My name is Steve, 29, played almost every rare game that came out on Nintendo consoles, exception being DKC3 and all the mobile games apart from DKL1, and I did not really like that all that much, even though I did play trough it as a Kid! In my hobby time I make let's plays and livestreams of video...
I think having to recollect the notes in BK is actually a good enough punishment, since you just can't cupcake up if you want the 100%. I think they could drive it further by adding a Dark Soul element. Like here is my idea, you have to bring the "notes" out of the level with you to keep t...
Banjo Tooies low inconsistent frame rate actually gave me trouble as a kid even. But really, the older I got, the more trouble I got with handling low framerates overall. And overall 60 fps just looks better. Just look at nintendos WiiU games, like Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart. 60fps just makes it loo...
Just as a reminder, Banjo Tooie didn't have a life counter, and it was the best decision rare could have made regarding that topic! And I agree with the 3D world thing... i would rather find a flower then an other live. Nintendo knows Game Overs are just annoying, but yet they don't want to give up ...
Maybe they can add skipable Cutscene and skipable mumblings. Like in BK with L+R+B. Wait what :| To elaborate on the thread, well, there is nothing speaking against it. Games tend to get speedrunned (not a real word) no matter if they have trackings or skippable cutscenes or not. You gotta watch th...
I personally enjoyed the silly entrances in Banjo Kaozooie more then the more seemless entrances in tooie. But tooie took place in a more "real" world while kazooie was in a witches castle/stonehut/head, where you can explain everything with... it's magic!
DK64s multiplayer was awesome! Also playing the minigames from tooie in mp was fun. I actually kinda liked the first person MP as well. I was a dirty peasant back then and was not been blessed by the gaben just yet!
I personally don't like the idea of lives in games, mostly because it sends you back to the title screen and you have to go all the way back to the level you died on, and that is just annoying and basically just wastes time! Everyone saying that getting punished in such a minor way because they got...
In their livestream they mentioned they use the unity engine. Also, modding never stops sales from sequels or from quality DLC. Just look at how Bethesda does it. Mods, different games and dlc all live nicely alongside each other. Companies who claim that mods makes people not buy DLC are the compan...
It's an okay game, but it's not a banjo game. I really think the reception would have been way better if they would have called something like Tiptups nuts and bolts
Too many? no. They are after all just suggestions and not guidlines or things that are musts! Suggesting is fine, just don't expect it to become a thing if the people you suggest it to don't like it!
