Re: Playtonic Universe - Problem?

While I do see the possibility of some problems arising with putting more comical characters in more serious works, on a visual design stand point there shouldn't really be a problem. For example, Trowzer in a dark gritty shooter could look vastly different than his look within Yooka-Laylee and visu...

Re: What did people dislike about BK/BT?

I wasn't really fond of the swimming controls. If you were going fast it was too hard to control and if you were going for the controlled movement you went rather slowly.

Re: Physical release stretch goal on Kickstarter?

The two problems I see with a physical console release are: 1. It's very expensive and you need to strike a deal with each big company which is difficult for an indie studio. 2. Region locking means each console needs a European, American and Australian version. Uhh Australian versions are exactly ...

Re: Gamecube controller support on Wii U?

While having an option to play through the adapter would be nice I would also like classic controller support. Mainly because I have one shaped like a GameCube controller and it is near impossible to find an adapter.

Re: The Caber Boardain topic

I think caber might be the star of a thrilling sign simulator. With never before seen interactivity such as stay in the one place and talk to things. More likely though he'll probably just be like a het of mini games or something.

I really like his nose. It seems that Laylee will be a bit of a clown and his nose might reflect that.

Re: What kind of an audience of gamers is here? Tell me about yourself.

Now let's see. My first game was most likely Sonic 2. The systems I've played games on on go in roughly this order: Sega Mega Drive, PC, DS, PS2, GameCube, N64*, Wii*, 3DS, WiiU,GameBoy Advanced SP, NES, SNES. *Could go either way I wouldn't really say I have a favourite game as there are lots of fa...

Well I've already voted 5 times but I might as well make Banjo and Kazooie my sixth vote.

Maybe a world that is like a pop-up book would be interesting. You might have to pop some platforms up using switches or tabs or something.

Re: Random Ideas (Characters/Levels/Challenges/Etc.)

Maybe there could be a pirate language option, for either those who speak pirate or just for some fun.
Also, assuming the game takes place on an island perhaps a reference to monkies wearing clothes on a near by archipelago.

Re: Who wants Project Ukulele to be released on Xbox 360?

While putting the game on the Xbox 360 would be great for getting the game out to a wide audience it could potentially hold the game back in terms of putting the same or simular experience of all consoles In my opinion, I don't think Ukulele would really fit for Nintendo or even Sony systems because...

Re: Name the jungle world......

Maybe something along the lines of Jungle Jive if it has anything to do with music. Maybe also Floating Falls going of the waterfall in the background.
Maybe if it's later in the game Grown Groans could be a name to signify some amount of difficulty.
