Re: Transformations

and I'm part of the small demographic that genuinely loved and played the heck out of Nuts & Bolts It's not as small as the stubborn fanboys that hate it. Every so often you run into someone that thinks something like "it has Banjo but doesn't play like it, so I hate it" or "it's...

Re: Have people forgotten Playtonic are not idiots?

As someone who doesn't do twitter, can anyone throw in some quotes from Grant about his reaction to the flaming that went down? From Grant: The music is still going to sound like me .... Does it matter what instruments I choose? I'm hoping you'll just trust me to do the right thing, it means as muc...

Re: Have people forgotten Playtonic are not idiots?

Seriously the amount of hate thrown at Grant today is absolutely disgusting. This guy was probably more excited than ANY of us that a game executives told him for YEARS could never happen is finally happening. He decides he wants to go a step further and provide QUALITY music because they can get th...

Reminder that the Jungle Tune everyone already HEARD AND LOVED was ALREADY ORCHESTRAL

These people and their kneejerk reactions, they're literally being mad because they are ignorant as to what orchestral even means.

Re: Orchestral Track

Being a MIDI has absolutely NOTHING to do with why the themes were so catchy and fun, it was because they were MADE to be catchy fun tunes.

Real instruments will ALWAYS sound better than electronic recreations, it was never being a MIDI that made the songs memorable.

Reminder: The Jungle Tune everyone already heard and loved was orchestral

https://twitter.com/grantkirkhope/status/594913356965810177 The reaction to this new stretch goal is purely kneejerk reactions to a non-issue. Original post: Please Playtonic Games, don't let these people scare you away from what could be a PHENOMENAL music score. People need to learn the difference...

Blake Robinson should definitely be contacted to contribute to Yooka-Laylee

Blake Robinson's Spiral Mountain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJGvX2nuaq8 Blake Robinson is the man behind the Synthetic Orchestra and has an entire album dedicated to Banjo-Kazooie. He has a great talent and is obviously very passionate about this particular franchise / genre. I am absolutely c...

Re: Just for clarification on the KS tiers, if I fund enough for console digital...

Am I also getting a Steam digital copy as well as the console version of my choice? I would love to be able to have this on both, but I'm not sure if I'm understanding correctly. Pledge £10 or more STEAM DIGITAL EDITION OF YOOKA-LAYLEE! A code to download the full, final version of Yooka-Laylee. Pl...

Based on this graph, the answer appears to be no. https://ksr-ugc.imgix.net/assets/003/713/039/38c18977e5af819791e44a4ffb0905ae_original.png?v=1430493615&w=700&h=&fit=max&auto=format&lossless=true&s=85c5ce3ca0450b4ef4debfdfef278567 It is kind of ambiguous though, so I can't ...

Re: The 'What Do You Do' Thread!

Going for a bachelors in Computer Science, full-time student. I play music and video games in my spare time. Might get an internship with some programmers working at a branched office for some genetics research firm based out of Baltimore. Already applied for some IT jobs in the meanwhile. Been play...
