Re: About any more stretch goals

I said it once, I'll say it again. The next stretch goal, which will probably be 1,800,000 or 2,000,000 GBP's, should be porting Yooka-Laylee to the New Nintendo 3DS and the PlayStation Vita. Thanks for agreeing with me. The big-mouthed idiots of this forum (like what you have in every forum) shoul...

Re: Now that the Kickstarter is a huge success, PLEASE add 3DS and Vita versions as goals!

Nope, opinions, and we get it, you don't like it, but stop bashing it. And it looks like you ignored my comments about Renegade Kid volunteering to do the work. New 3DS also has Unity support, which is why a lot of the game would transfer well into it, it would need a lot of tweaking, yes, but it wo...

Re: Now that the Kickstarter is a huge success, PLEASE add 3DS and Vita versions as goals!

Check again, this is my first and only thread about this subject. You yourself have a ridiculous need of bashing the idea and my comments, even though it's just your opinion, that you don't want it. It still doesn't mean that a lot of 3DS owners would be happy about it, especially because it's Ninte...

Re: Now that the Kickstarter is a huge success, PLEASE add 3DS and Vita versions as goals!

As I said in the other thread :) : Jools from Renegade Kid is also in favor of a 3DS port, mainly because I'm guessing, that their team would totally be ready to make it. They even tried to be the ones to make Mighty No. 9. And they wouldn't need much money, they'd be happy just to get some from the...

And what about a 64-bit version for the New 3DS? All they would have to do, is convert all the bones, surfaces, animations and reskin and make a new engine, that wouldn't require much money.

Re: Now that the Kickstarter is a huge success, PLEASE add 3DS and Vita versions as goals!

I think 360/PS3/Vita ports would be fine, because it should be really easy and inexpensive to port Unity engine games to multiple platforms (The only thing Playtonic would need to pay for are dev-kits for those platforms, as the actual tools used to port to those consoles are completely free.) A 3D...

Re: Now that the Kickstarter is a huge success, PLEASE add 3DS and Vita versions as goals!

Well yeah, some people wouldn't want a quiz show level, some people wouldn't want mine cart levels, some people don't care about multiplayer in a platformer, some people like a few of you don't want a 3DS version, but there are people who would want that also, especially many original Nintendo fans ...

Re: Now that the Kickstarter is a huge success, PLEASE add 3DS and Vita versions as goals!

I personally would rather not see a 3DS port. I don't want Yooka-Laylee to face the same fate as Smash Bros for XXX. For instance, the Wii U couldn't have Ice Climbers due to the 3DS's limitations. If they turn out cutting features because of the 3DS, I wouldn't personally support this decision. Th...

Re: Now that the Kickstarter is a huge success, PLEASE add 3DS and Vita versions as goals!

Good point on the New 3DS part. If they can't come up with better rewards, I'd definitely add the PS3/Xbox360 ones, too.

And probably Xbox360/PS3 versions too? There are people who really want these.

Re: Too much like Banjo-Kazooie?

It felt actually a slightly worse: a bit too linear with just one path and a bit of trees surrounding it. I'm hoping they'll create huge areas with multiple different things in it. But I mean you can't tell anything about that yet, maybe we'll see it a bit better in 5 hours.

Has no one here really mentioned about the 64-bit mode yet?? That'll be just plain amazing.

Re: Yooka-Laylee!

Because of the close up animation at the beginning, Yooka's design is finally starting to grow on me (even though it's been just an hour or two..). Laylee is still nothing special, but I like how small the character is compared to Kazooie.
