Re: I've Played Yooka-Laylee: My Thoughts (Spoiler-free)

My question for you is how long is the game compared to Kazooie and Tooie? Yes I know you took about 40 hours to 100% the game, but how long does it take you to normally 100% kazooie and Tooie if you didnt already know the game like the back of your hand? I think this would give us the best idea of ...

Re: Making the Switch

Wait so it says if you pre order you get the toybox right? So what if we backed the game but just chose to get the game and not the toybox?

Re: Yooka Laylee playable at EGX 2016!

Since part of the game revolves around expanding levels with the Pagies, I believe each level you first enter will be very small at first, and collecting pagies will enlarge the level and might even reveal new sections that that each feel like its own individual level (The jungle-themed Tribalstack...

Re: Yooka Laylee playable at EGX 2016!

I understand it is a notorious game to emulate, and as such I haven't played it (though it's been a few years since I read that, hopefully just with general processing power there can be brute-emulation). If I could manage to dig out my N64, see if it still works (last time I tried it was having tr...

Re: Yooka Laylee playable at EGX 2016!

Oh well, if the main game is a good experience we have some more content to look forward to, not a bad thing per sé as they can create their DLC based on user input from the main game. I cannot remember a promise of more than 5 worlds though, can you find the quote? go to the main page http://www.p...

Re: Yooka Laylee playable at EGX 2016!

Still salty about 5 worlds when they specifically said more than 5. And no I don't count the hub world as a world. Whatever, I just hope the game is as large as BK.

Re: Yooka Laylee playable at EGX 2016!

I'm a bit confused. So does this mean anyone from their home can play a demo of the game? Or that only people at EGX will play the demo?

Re: E3 trailer by Playtonic

I'm very curious is the worlds that we saw in the trailer were already expanded, or those were just their first forms? Also I'd like to know if it's basically 25 pagies and 100 quills on the first time to a world, and then another 25 pagies and 100 quills on the expanded worlds?

Re: E3 trailer by Playtonic

The trailer is insane! :D
I'm so excited for this game, and don't care at all about the delay. But I still can't get behind 5 worlds. Especially when the repeatedly said "more than 5 worlds". So honestly it's kinda false advertising is there isn't at least 6. Dont h8 pls

Re: Edge magazine material analytics

Oh, I'm also very curious on how large exactly are these worlds. I'd assume between Kazooie and Tooie? I personally love me some huge worlds so I hope they can be as large or larger than Tooies.

Re: Edge magazine material analytics

Only thing that could make my hype explode to the max at this point is if they confirmed that there were around 7 worlds, not including the hub. And if they confirmed some sorta of mod support. If both these things happend my life would be complete. Because so far everything looks perfect

Re: Edge magazine material analytics

The text being in all caps and being in that font makes me way more happy than it should. Plus those galary images look insanely amazing. And that cutscene image I suppose with Corporate B looks amazing.
This game looks perfect.

Re: Edge magazine material analytics

Read it all. Everything looks fantastic. Very happy. I do have maybe a slight concern tho. I wish they would of talked about the collectibles a bit more. I hope that there is going to be a mumbo token equivalent. And obviously a honey comb equivalent for increasing your max health. Because I love lo...

You guys may want to check this out... Not quite sure if this is related, but it very well could be. They may have been hinting at a hive/bee all along. http://imgur.com/a/xmeRn
