Re: Tooka-Laydee!!!

Knowing Playtonic (and knowing they're aware of this game), they may well sneakily reference it somewhere in the actual finished Yooka-Laylee game. Wouldn't surprise me.

Re: See the picture on the screen...

I'm digging this up from the grave, so we revive this old fan fave. Lupo's Boiling Boiler Blast is as loved now as in the past. So let us make this other game become again a household name! See the picture on the screen... Do you know where you have been? http://i60.tinypic.com/rlgyab.png

Re: Banjo-Kazooie or Banjo-Tooie?

Perhaps the latter have better music. Agreed, Banjo-Tooie's music is great and I love the variety of how it changes in different areas - more so than in Banjo-Kazooie. I've finished replaying Kazooie and have just started replaying Tooie. I'm loving how joined-up the worlds are and enjoying it a lo...

Re: Thoughts on the £2M DLC

Most people expect frosting on a cake when they order a cake; they specifically say that a cake is frostingless if it has no frosting. Right, well there's the problem with your analogy. Based on what has been said, I gather that the game will (obviously) be complete and won't lack anything from the...

Re: Banjo-Kazooie or Banjo-Tooie?

Thinking about it, I think one of the amazing things about Banjo-Tooie is how different from Banjo-Kazooie it is, and how confident it is in being so. They really weren't afraid to make a game that wasn't just bigger, but also different. The way they confidently introduced new characters straight aw...

Re: New here? Meet & greet!

Oh and I'll take one serving of fries please! Coming right up, some of those limp, salty fries. Just bend down and pick them off the floor - it adds some nice extra grease, whatever those health & safety losers think. Interesting thread you submitted. This is a great way of making fellow Yooka-...

What Nintendo 64 games should I get?

Um, so, I've got a Nintendo 64.

I've got Banjo-Tooie and Donkey Kong 64 and ... as far as I'm aware, not really any other good ones. So, what would you recommend?

Re: [Stretch Goals] Update: £2 Million Stretch Goal funded!

I already planned my future and Computer Science is what I'm currently in at my local college. I already have concept art for my dedicated game I'm working on, which is 2% done. But I made no plans to publish it out to the public due to technical reasons. I may not even finish it since I'm having t...

Re: Regarding Forum Font

My feedback is that this font is horrible and desperately needs to be changed. I have got used to it a little bit, but I really don't think it is suitable for this kind of forum. All you guys suggesting a custom-made font just for this forum: Please let's not make this over-complicated. Let's focus ...

Re: Community Made Assets

I may write some Kirkhope-esque music and share it on here for fun, but as for the actual game, the community collaboration idea is IMO not a good one at all. Good games aren't created by committees. They want a small dev team all in the same room for a reason. And if you think they can't finish it ...

Man, I bet you're right Mark but I replayed the entirety of Click Clock Wood TODAY and didn't get that one! That really does suggest I have little hope in this game :P

Did you saw that amazing 2D Tribute jump&run Mini Game Tooka - Laydee ? Here´s the hilarious Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=1EyvdCD9zdc Hahah, I love that trailer's intro so much xD The gibberish is really fun! That's a very nice touch, as is Grant Kirkhope...

Re: Tim Stamper asks whether we want to see footage from Project Dream

Why do people want to see the game that never was? I assume it never was because it made way for something the team thought would be way better.

I'm currently in college for that. For your sake I hope you mean you're studying something applicable across the industry like "software-engineering" or "programming" and not "game design at DeVry online". develop and finish outside of school than the title of your deg...
