Re: Proper voices as a stretch goal

... Voice acting is an aesthetic. Arguing that it is a "Standard feature" is completely and entirely moot. Whenever somebody brings up "Industry standards" in their argument, I roll my eyes, and then I start rolling heads. One can argue that anything is an industry standard, the...

Re: Multiplayer CPUs (for the lonely & friendless)

Bots are supposedly pretty difficult.
Or rather, they take a lot of time.

I would love to see multiplayer CPUs, but I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't in every game, even if they managed to include them in a few.

I think I'd be happy with that.

Re: What kind of local 4-Player ya hoping for?

It would be a dream come true if they managed to made 5 player multiplayer utilizing the wii U gamepad!

But, not keeping my hopes up.

Re: Possible Publishers for Physical Version

Just as long as it's not EA, Ubisoft, Sony, Microsoft, nor Nintendo. I think having sony microsoft, and nintendo each publishing on their respective platforms would actually be the best. Not sure exactly how that arrangement might come about though. It wouldn't. No publisher in their right minds wo...

Re: Is Laylee a fruitivore, or an insectivore?

I'm reading up on bat species, and I found this about Vampire Bats The body of the Vampire Bat allows it to walk as well as to run. They aren’t just animals that fly around like others. The fact that they have strong legs makes it possible for them to take part in such efforts. The fact that Laylee...

Re: Nintendo should REALLY think about locking this project up!

If Playtonic was bought by Nintendo, their games would have to be released on Nintendo platforms only and therefor less people would be able to enjoy them. As much as I love Nintendo and think this would be a smart move from their perspective (and maybe even from Playtonics perspective regarinding ...

Re: Is Laylee a fruitivore, or an insectivore?

Fruit bats still have sharp teeth. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/34/PteropusLyd1.png As far as features go, large eyes and large nose both indicate towards fruit bats. Fruit bats have very large noses and a great sense of smell, the only thing is they're large in the sense that the...

Re: Nintendo should REALLY think about locking this project up!

I think it would be great to use them as a more loose second party. They can make games that are exclusive to Nintendo, without having to make Nintendo games exclusively. For instance, I'm sure playtonic would love the opportunity to work on Donkey Kong again. This would be great for many reasons, o...

Is Laylee a fruitivore, or an insectivore?

Its an interesting question because in Banjo Kazooie, Banjo went after honeycombs, But birds don't eat honey at all. Where as with Yooka and Laylee, they might possibly both be wanting to eat the same thing. Or, there is the other possibility that Laylee is a hemovore, and drinks blood, which would ...

Re: Please disclose Framerate for 120hz 144hz users

I would not spread false information, But i used to have a CRT that operated at 160hz and that died a long time ago. I was forced to use a 60hz Dell 2007WFP (can tell dates by that model no) and since then i went from 20/20 to wearing glasses. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. The ...

I'm sure with 20M+, an actual 64 cartridge release should be possible.

Re: So, it gets on Wii U. Which controller?

With the game releasing on so many platforms, there's really no reason to say "It shouldn't include motion controls because I don't like them."

Anyway, Basic gamepad integration is a must I think.
Off Tv, touch screen menus, etc.

I'm also still a big fan of wii remotes.
