Re: Ball Roll Suggestions

I don't really mind how difficult the game is, the question is more what sort of difficulty. Canary Mary, for example, while often toted as the height of challenge, involves no skill beyond pressing a button really fast. No precision, no timing, no thought, just button bashing. Likewise, the mountai...

Re: Rolling on water?

That could make an interesting power up! Only can be performed if already in Reptile Roll when entering the water, can't fall from a distance into the water, and how about only if you're going a certain speed? As soon as you slow down or stop, you fall in. I would enjoy some timed challenges with t...

Re: Toybox feedback & discussion thread (SPOILERS)

Just finished the toolbox, and I found what I believe to be a bug. I was in the enclosed glass ceiling area with box puzzles and I was unable to push the boxes. I continued to other areas thinking I'd gain an ability or something and even went through the door that loads you higher up. I then retur...

Re: Let's Talk Swimming

If we're talking concerns with the Toybox then: 1) The controls as I am able to access them are attrocious (utterly). The game is clearly designed for a controller but, since I own the sort of Xbox controller than works on an actual 360, I have nothing that'll work with steam. 2) The tutorial text t...

Re: Toybox: Others with motion sickness?

My sister mentioned something of this sort when we were playing. Apparently her issue was to do with the effect that such large amounts of solid bright colours have on perspective.

Re: Let's Talk Swimming

I prefer the swimming controls of Banjo-Tooie over that of Yooka-Laylee. However, I doubt the control scheme would transfer very well onto mouse and keyboard. None of the Yooka Laylee Toybox has transfered well to mouse and keyboard so whether or not the new swimming suits those controls better is ...

Re: I have to commend Playtonic in terms of font size...

I agree, the new font in the ports is a definite step backwards and doesn't fit well into the games. Other things like the new suddenness of music transitions also felt jarring to me. More important though is definitely the OP's message. I have 2 perfectly adequate TVs, one CRT (still the best for P...
