Re: Update Impressions!

Gloomy Gem Grotto certainly could have used a change for how much apparent trouble people had, but they went to far IMO. I think that they simply could have made the glowing ability more impressive: reveal more area, so you're less likely to fall off. Now that they have made the darkness so bright, ...

Re: Post Update: Desires and Bugs

Added it to the list. I think I've seen that one too: I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be the case or not. But I'm also pretty sure - now that I think about it - that I have seen rolling take down the corplets in that game, so it's got to be a bug when it doesn't.

Re: Update Impressions!

Nah I felt the same way too in many instances. Black Hole in One really surprises me... That never took me more than two times to beat, and that was only because the first time I'd just zip through it without being careful at all. Arguably, world 4's golf course is now harder than world 5's, which i...

Post Update: Desires and Bugs

Hey! I've played through the game again with the new update, and have a list of things that I know a lot of us would still like to see implemented, or things that I still can't get past in wanting. In addition, I have a list of bugs I've uncovered in the game thus far. I'm putting the wish list in f...

Update Impressions!

Hey all! I've just finished beating the game again (or at least getting to the last boss with everything collected), so I thought I'd weigh in on the changes. First and foremost, the new camera is wonderful . I utterly love it. There are a few tiny kinks to work out without a doubt, but overall it i...

Re: Is Yooka-Laylee the True Spiritual Successor of Banjo-Kazooie? (SURVEY)

Absolutely this game is the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. Is the game perfect? No. But as a major BK fan, I can't help but utterly love this game for restoring to me a genre of video games that I've been missing for a decade and a half. I literally bought a 360 when I was younger just becaus...

Re: 64-bit Tonic?

Hurdle Hijinx is filled with glitches (at least on PC version)! If you try to change lanes too fast, it will keep resetting the lane-change timer so you can't make a change at all (in that direction). If you fall behind the camera's main following point, you somehow always get overtaken and die unle...

Re: Things we DON'T Want in Twooka-Laylee

Glitches -_- On a more serious note, I'd like to make sure quills stay individual, like BK, rather than "nested," like in BT. Collecting notes in BT felt so pointless ! I'd also prefer for the Ghost Writers to stay localized in their worlds, rather than spread out all over the place like j...

Re: 64-bit Tonic?

Unfortunately, I think that is going to be added later. I think they are viewing this as more of a "fixing the game" type of update :(

Hopefully I'm wrong though!

I'm pretty interested in this tonic myself. I can't even fathom how it's going to work!

Re: Another List of Minor Issues & Proposals

Yeah I've thought about Nimble... but having to simply stop and use your tongue still takes too much time for how fast the puff of air goes. Oh well. Hopefully they at least make those butterflies bigger. I'm happy to see that other major complaints are being addressed. The arcade games getting &quo...

Re: Another List of Minor Issues & Proposals

The Kartos one I'm kind of hoping they have touched up... it said they added a number of new effects or something to that section, so I'm optimistic. I think they didn't touch on a number of things that people are interested in, mostly because of how "minor" those things may be and how man...

Re: Kartos idea

I have two thoughts on this. First, I have to agree that it is strange when you finish a Kartos track, see you are at one end of the level, and then magically jump back to the start. But second, I don't know if I'd like it if I were suddenly in a totally different part of the level. I think this cou...

Another List of Minor Issues & Proposals

Hey guys! I am an old-time Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie fan, and I (like many of you) helped back this game. I have to say that I love this game a lot! However, we - the fans - cannot deny the existence of issues that detract from the game. This list is meant propose solutions for some of the smaller iss...
