Re: Refill backer rewards...

poo-poo just got real, I'm out. Find me in the desert, bring tin-foil hats. Oh and... stay away from the plants, they're not good for your health... Might want to see a doctor. Sure, plushies would be nice XD I know you are making fun of me... but I still have to point out that Tin-foil hats actual...

Re: Lupo's Boiling Boiler Blast

Is there a possible hint for us to chew on here?
I just can't figure it out it's hard to bear.
The only thing still in my mind,
Is Roysten the fish one of a kind.
In the game twice he was killed, put on the barbeque and firmly grilled XD

Dragons/Conspiracies/I don't even know...

Let me get that straight: We went from backer rewards to socialism, from socialism to space and now we are discussing dragons?

Man, they should turn you into a side character XD

Re: Dated (and fake): Interview with Tim and Chris Stamper

Re: Invent a new stop 'n swop, let's get creative!

[spoiler] WITHOUT knowing the story? Kinda tough. Very possible though! Stop 'n swop had nothing to do with the story. I'm talking mechanics here, creative ways to hide things. Like a new collectible per example: instead of the usual sandcastle codes you'd now have to collect letter-tiles to fill a ...

Dated (and fake): Interview with Tim and Chris Stamper

http://www.p4rgaming.com/exclusive-interview-with-tim-and-chris-stamper/ These people made Rare big, I just figured that out reading into the past work of Rare when it was called 'Ultimate play the game!' As I see it they were the visionairies. And they left Rare when it became part of Microsoft. ....

Re: Invent a new stop 'n swop, let's get creative!

Uh, guys..? Not to rain on the parade here, but that's actually a pretty bad idea. Not everyone would want to have to play the game with an active internet connection just to be able to experience the game as it's fully intended, and some people may not have a reliable internet connection all the t...

Arcade games, new games or existing oldies?

I was wondering about the arcade games, Could they be arcade games already in existence from the past, or could they be retro designed new ones? I kinda liked the Jetpac game from DK64! Anyway I dug a little around trying to find some games Rare created back then. Back in the day Rare was called 'Ul...

Re: Refill backer rewards...

You know... You could always like, try and mail Playtonic. Ask them if something can be arranged? Or you could like... keep posting until page 10, still without collectable. Idunno?

Re: Age of Fans?

24 as of date. I'm totally addicted to 3d platformers, they're plain fun and easy to pick up and play at any time. Banjo-Kazooie became an instant favorite. as did Super Mario 64, Zelda, Glover, Donkey Kong 64, Diddy kong racing, Conker's bad fur day and Banjo-Tooie later on, Paper-Mario, Gex, Golde...

Re: Invent a new stop 'n swop, let's get creative!

To add to your idea: Store all the data for secrets to be found on playtonic's server. Requiring an internet-connection to be uncovered. That'll teach dataminers. Playtonic should use an own made encryption key for the data to be translated in game from their servers. It's a hassle, but the secrets ...

Re: Refill backer rewards...

I'd have to say this game means a lot to me too, the game that is. A lot! It's the reason I am checking this forum all day just to get the latest scoop and think back to the good old times. I still haven't backed yet, I want to but as of yet I am not able not not owning any credit card whatsoever. ...

Re: Factory World?

I liked the factory level, it was challenging and felt more oriëntated towards the end-game, as in 'It upped the notch a wee bit' The music was enjoyable and the screaming pigs were too! The lack of color... I dunno, I never thought about it, but sometimes lack of color can set a great atmosphere. R...

Re: DLC discussion

Screw DLC. I don't want it. I want them to make Yooka-Laylee a premium game like they said, and then I want Playtonic to use their talents and make another awesome complete game. DLC is a waste of time. If they want to add content then add it to the Yooka-Laylee sequel. I get your thinking, but DLC...
