Re: A Bit Awkward to Ask... Buuuut...

Remember the van back from ol' tooie? yeahhhh... I spent 2 hours riding around bashing enemies in that thing for no apparent reason. Marvelous. I think they have overdone this part in Nuts & Bolts. T'was fun though!... for awhile... Who knows, transformations are confirmed. Maybe we will get our...

Re: Remaster or New Banjo?

I liked Banjo-kazooie for what it was and will always be, somehow I get the idea when a game gets remastered it doesn't add anything significantly better to play the new game... I like the charms of the old game, graphics and everything. A remaster may not even be enjoyed to the fullest because the ...

Re: Kickstarter Tracking Thread

Instead of new tiers they should make an add on store. http://imgur.com/CzEdluf A bunch of people would add more stuff to their pledge. You made that quite clear... right here: http://forums.playtonicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1291 Why not send an e-mail to the development team? edit: to cha...

Re: What did you like about BK?

Music, level design, ambiance. They are the things I dig.
But even more so, the rhythming witch also made this game big!
Then there's one think I crave for still,
Big, huge secrets to be solved with skill!

Re: Req. for the game

Well well what a surprise, I found a game I never even heard of to compare to! http://imageshack.com/a/img538/2373/vCMVsV.jpg The last tinker seems to share alot of similarities graphics wise with the colorful world (stil in alpha) of Yooka Laylee, The recommended specs are astonishing!: Core 2 Duo ...

Re: Req. for the game

Do not forget that it is entirely possible for versions to be scaled graphics-wise to the system they are sold on.

Perhaps the PC version will ask more resources than its' Wii U version.

Anyway, I'm off to search some games to compare to now! Cheerio.

Re: Invent a new stop 'n swop, let's get creative!

In the world of DLC, is stop 'n swop even needed anymore? From the other thread: Cross platform stop n swop would be a ridiculous hassle for something that can be made very different in a more refreshing and engaging way. I just fail to see any advantages gameplay wise for stop n swop to function c...

Re: Lupo's Boiling Boiler Blast

Colour defines this one I seek, though not too much, to keep you weak, are it the secret eggs of which you speak? Twice around, though perhaps more, if buttons pressed not quite so sure. 2 eggs are shown at the end of the game, but once entering sandcastle codes more eggs came! Something sits that g...

Re: Req. for the game

Start hoping, we cannot say for sure but you're shooting quite low me thinks. The game will of course apply modern techniques and with 2016 yet to come perhaps my guess is even too low ;) We'll see, we'll see... You know what? I'll look up some other game specs that are more like Yooka-Laylee techni...

I'm thinking hard putting brainzaps apart,
but for every clue I seem to find there's always one sentence staying behind.
Don't you fret I'm still all game, I'll just keep looking for a name.

Re: Suggestion: Make Yooka Female

Have you ever heard of a game changing the gender of its main character during production for no reason other than "some fans thought it would be better this way"? Lol, I am already picturing some games right now that would do it, just to annoy. "People, Link will from this point on ...

Yay, creativities! I had some ideas back in the dynamic level thread, here I will try to think up some more. The Chameleon of the Opera: As the name suggests, a giant opera. Long ago many famous creatures from the YL universe performed here. That was until nobody was interested enough in grand perfo...

Cross platform stop n swop would be a ridiculous hassle for something that can be made very different in a more refreshing and engaging way. I just fail to see any advantages gameplay wise for stop n swop to function cross-platform. It adds little more then a mechanic a minority cares about (that is...

Re: What have YOU pledged? POLL

I have not backed the ks yet, I am collecting some extra money to make the pledge next month ^^ You can make a pledge without any money in your bank; money is only taken when the Kickstarter ends. It might be a good idea to at least make a £5 pledge now so that you get all the backer 'insider info'...

Re: What have YOU pledged? POLL

Wait. Backer forum access. Does that mean if you back you get to see threads non backers can't, or you can only read/post in the forums like MN9? I wondered about this. Not sure what the point of it is but I wonder when this private section will be added. It will hardly be private cause are there A...

Re: List 'o Ideas

Just thought of something.

Yooka should be able to use her tongue to propel himself over huge gaps. By grappling to certain object and then pulling back the controller... And then release! Just like a slingshot.
