Re: Nintendo Fans, Lets Show Them Our Nostalgia! WiiU/3DS+Am

I support a Wii U release. I don't care much about Amiibo. Either way, whatever platform, I'm going to buy the game.

Re: Voice acting?

This is a tough one. I love and prefer the mumbles, but I know my little nephew would love to hear what's going on (he can't read yet!)... I have to vote mumbles for selfish reasons. Maybe full dialogue could be turned on and off in the options menu -- this dialogue option could become a stretch goa...

Re: Online Multiplayer?

Maybe Banjo-Tooie's scrapped devil bottles idea? But I can't help but feel that'd be better suited to local multiplayer... and I can't see that working very well on PC.

Haha, those eyes don't actually look half bad! I stand corrected... somewhat.

Re: Anyone else notice the inexplicable lack of Googly eyes?

Mhm... googly eyes in the environment would be a bit ridiculous. Keep the eyes on characters, I say.

Online Multiplayer?

How would you guys feel about having an online multiplayer option? If this is something you would want, what online features are you after? Mini-games similar to Banjo-Tooie's multiplayer mode, or perhaps the actual main game with co-operative support? Something else? I think, if possible, some sort...

Re: How should you enter worlds?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean exactly. Tooie still used portals to enter worlds. I guess the level entrances were a bit more realistic in Tooie, if that's what you mean? (Compared to, say, Treasure Trove Cove's treasure chest entrance). I guess my only request would be for exotic and inter...

Re: Amiibo!!! OH MY GOSH !

I've never personally been a fan of Amiibo. It seems there's quite a bit of support for it on here though (and from Gavin Price), so I guess it'd be a pretty fan-friendly idea in general.

Re: Expandable worlds

Expandable worlds sounds awesome, but I hope it doesn't imply lots of Tooie-esque backtracking. I guess the backtracking won't be so bad if it were in brand new and excited areas of the previous levels, but I don't know... I guess I'm coming at this from a Kazooie perspective and I don't want to be ...

Re: When will this game be coming out?

2015 is very unlikely, if not impossible. I think the Kickstarter is going up in May so that they have some time to prepare more content for us and gain our trust (not that we don't trust them already, considering the amount of talent they have)!

Re: Kickstarter Stretch Goals

I only really want to see more in-game content in terms of stretch goals. More worlds, more moves, more items, more music, more, more, more...

I'm not sure about rewards -- and I'm unsure if I'll be able to give a lot, so I probably won't be able to receive any of them anyway!

Re: End-game Quiz/Twists?

I guess it is far too earlier to speculate on such things, but it's hard to stop your imagination running wild!

I think I'd probably like to see a quiz (or equivalent), and maybe a Mingy Jongo-type reveal at the end to pay homage to Playtonic's origins... Time shall tell, heh.

Re: Stop 'n' Swop done right - Connecting multiple games!

In the Rezzed presentation it was said that they are interested in included tons of secrets, so I can see a Stop 'N' Swop type equivalent happening. I have no idea how that would work though...

Re: Quirky Characters?

It's always good to have a good cop/bad cop duo. It creates more opportunities for the story/dialogue. I would guess, as Pgcrooner suggests, that an inversion is quite possible just to spice things up a bit from Banjo-Kazooie. Who knows!

End-game Quiz/Twists?

I loved the quizzes at the end of the Banjo games, especially the board game style of Kazooie. Would you guys want a quiz (or something similar) to appear in Ukulele? What about other end-game twists? There was a rumour that Grunty's last spell (that misses) before she falls off the tower in Kazooie...

Re: Thoughts on an Open World?

Personally, I preferred the Tooie balance, as it made for more interesting puzzles and interaction between characters. I think one of the frustrations people felt in playing Tooie was that they entered the experience trying to play it like B-K. That is, entering a world, beating it 100%, and moving...

Re: Does anybody have a Character Silhouette screenshot?

The new warrior silhouette reminds me a little of Edison, the original character that was replaced by Banjo and Kazooie. But, looking at the silhouette, it seems he's grown his hair out and gained a passion for skirts after all this time. http://110.imagebam.com/download/iweVFu6jYh7XwvjJ38LcjA/39722...
