Re: Is it bad that I'm kinda burned out on the game already?

I'm still hyped because I've waited more than 16 years for this!

I even thought the game would take 3 to 4 years in development so seeing how fast the time has gone I can only hope for March to come and then the switch version of Yooka-Laylee some day this year!

Re: Switch is confirmed!

I have said it and I will say it again! For me the only company that can mess up things over here by not supporting Playtonic is Nintendo. I've seen them (Nintendo) very lazy over how they support this project many more indie games have been featured in E3 videos, social media mentions and lately th...

Re: Not very happy

The only thing I just don't get is that they told us we would have a big update in January but the info was just a reconfirmation of the switch version and the console change options (which we already knew before). So I'm not sure just how big of an update this is (besides the adition of a new membe...

I just hope it has a nice dialog cutscene at the beginning of the fight and some menacing music that let us know the boss fight is eminent!

Re: Are you guys/gals ready for the Yooka-Laylee amiibo?

What reveal? I heard nothing. I was almost sure Yooka-Laylee was going to appear on the Switch presentation! But my gut failed me this time! Hopefully we will get info soon on the game. Playtonic said more info would come on January. And if I can I will change the title of the topic. Maybe "Do...

Re: Nintendo support should we worry?

I'd be worried. Who knows when the PS5 and XB∞ come out if they will support the Switch. "Technical difficulties" of Switch being only as powerful as a PS4 means Nintendo players don't get to play Playtonic games. I'm worried a bit more about Nintendo not supporting Playtonic than Playton...

You called it, and on the right day too. mad skills :P Hahaha it just felt very weird like something was going on hahaha I can publicly say that I'm not worried anymore about Nintendo supporting Playtonic! By now the guys must have a devkit in their hands so THAT is very exciting! Hope most of the ...

Nintendo support should we worry?

Seeing how Playstation is fully embracing Yooka-Laylee and Microsoft at least acknowledging the game existence (E3 and preorder info) ... Should we worry about Nintendo not even mentioning Yooka-Laylee at all like ever? I definitely would like to think they are being very secretive about some kind o...

Re: NEW TRAILER - Gamescom 2016

I just wanted to say I love the trailer! The music sound a lot like Gruntilda's lair which is Great+++! This trailer has raised my trust even farther than it was previously on and shows how the little things we spot (and complain) from time to time are being fixed one at a time! Personally I will no...

Re: Toybox feedback & discussion thread (SPOILERS)

Laylee's voice is fine, but I'm not too fond of the sounds Yooka makes when performing various moves like jumps or the reptile roll. However, his speaking voice in the E3 2016 trailer is wicked and I hope it stays that way. It's almost as if Playtonic combined Sexy Grunty and Jolly Roger voices for...

Re: Toybox feedback & discussion thread (SPOILERS)

Guys how do you feel about the character voices (not sure if this should be a separated topic) I feel the voices of Yooka and Laylee are a little bit quiet... I really have a hard time trying to relate the voices with the characters as they don't feel that iconic just yet. As an example of what I'm ...

Re: Share Your Ideas for Animations! Idle, rolling, talking, and more!

I would like to see an animation to when you get a Pagie I felt that was missing in the toy box! YES!! Pagie Dance! The dance in Banjo Kazooie along with the fanfare always gave me a proud sense of accomplishment. It was absent in Banjo Tooie and that really disappointed me, and that carried on in ...

Re: Share Your Ideas for Animations! Idle, rolling, talking, and more!

I would like to see an animation to when you get a Pagie I felt that was missing in the toy box! If pages are one of the most important items in the game, some special animation would be cool to let the player know that. (Specially for people that play it for the first time). We know pages are impo...

Re: Toybox feedback & discussion thread (SPOILERS)

Something that felt very weird was the fact that yooka and laylee loose al momentum when they crouch.

In Banjo Kazooie this made the animations feel more fluid. But as now it just feels a little choppy running and suddenly stopping when crouching instead of sliding.

Re: Problems with N64 Controller

Did you try the windows 10 + XBOX controller fix in the options when you pause the game?

That seems to fix most things even if you are not on windows 10 mine used to lock on the roll animation until I turned that option on!
