Re: How much will YOU pledge?

For me, it really does depend on what rewards are available at what tiers. As with most of what I've backed on Kickstarter, I'd probably opt for the highest tier I could afford with rewards I actually want.

Re: Instrumental music

I don't think the whole game would need an orchestral/live instrumental soundtrack, but having select tracks in the game for important scenes or such be orchestral/live instrumental would be pretty awesome. I certainly wouldn't mind having a full orchestral/live instrumental version of the game's so...

Re: If there's a beta (Early Access), would you play it?

Most of the games I've backed on Kickstarter I backed at a high enough tier to get beta access, I'd probably do the same here as well if such a tier was presented. That said, I would prefer that any beta releases were limited in scope so as not to spoil the game too much, just enough content to teas...

Re: Keep a tight rein on fan input

I have to agree with a lot of the sentiment voiced in this thread, fan input should be welcome as far as suggesting things to the devs for them to contemplate on and, if they think it fits their vision for the game, possibly worked into it in some way. I don't think there should be any sort of direc...

Re: So, it gets on Wii U. Which controller?

It would definitely have to use the Wii U Gamepad at a minimum, since it's the only input device anyone with a Wii U is guaranteed to have, but assuming that the gamepad screen isn't being used for anything overly important (ie. if it's just mirroring what's displayed on the TV), having an option to...

Re: Wii U/3DS Cross-Buy?

Unless Playtonic would be capable of setting up and maintaining their own cloud save servers for the game (or could pay someone else to do it), there wouldn't be any way to have a Wii U version of the game and a 3DS version of the game use the same save data. At that point, they might as well make t...

Re: Physical Retail Release

I have a hunch that, were the game to be released as a physical copy on either of Nintendo's current platforms, we probably would not get a proper, physical instruction manual as part of the package as they seem to be doing digital-only manuals these days. I have no idea what Microsoft's or Sony's s...

Re: Voice acting?

I wouldn't mind having both options available and be able to toggle between them in the game's options, but I would definitely prefer professional voice actors in a proper recording studio to any kind of fan voice acting (unless the fan voices end up being used for the gibberish voices and are proce...

Re: Kickstarter Stretch Goals

It seems to me like this thread ended up being more about desired Kickstarter pledge rewards than about possible stretch goals should the project receive more funding than it's inital goal. That said, we don't really know the intended scope of the game with just the base goal they'll set, so it's ra...

Re: Forum Issue: Fix the Avatar size limit

I was just glad I already had a version of my avatar that fit the restrictions, probably created when I registered to another forum with the same restrictions... Seriously, I think I've got enough versions of my avatar now that I can't possibly run into a forum for which I don't have a fitting versi...

Re: About Amiibos

What sort of amiibo support are we talking about here? Are we talking using existing amiibo that Nintendo is releasing/has already released based on Smash Bros. and Mario Party 10, or are we talking about having amiibo made based on this game and characters from it to then use with the game in some ...

Re: What platform(s) do you want to see Project Ukulele on?

As the only current generation console I have is a Wii U, I definitely have to throw another vote on the pile for it, but I would not be opposed to seeing it released on as many platforms as feasibly possible. I imagine the game would feel right at home on a Nintendo platform.
