Re: Refill backer rewards...

Bah, I was going to try to offer my two cents on the matter but most of the points I had were already more or less covered by other people. All I can really say is this. While it would be awesome if the Playtonic team could add an additional tier for the N64 cart (there could very likely be enough d...

Re: DLC discussion

Even as a backer, I'd get it for free. But, does that mean nonbackers will have to pay for it? Assuming we reach the £2 million stretch goal, backers will get the first DLC pack they release for the game for free. I assume this means non-backers who purchase the game after it's released will have t...

Re: Add-On Store

I would be too tempted by plushies. My wallet is already bleeding though D: I would definitely have to shuffle some additional funds their way if they offered plushies or figurines of the duo... I'm already stretching my funds pretty tight though, so I'm almost hoping they don't do that... I kinda ...

Re: What have YOU pledged? POLL

Unless I'm mistaken, many debit cards in America are Visa Debit cards which can be used as a Visa card in places that accept Visa credit cards, so they end up getting charged as a Visa card and the amount debited from your account as a debit transaction. Canadian banks are rolling out Visa Debit as ...

Re: A Bit Awkward to Ask... Buuuut...

One of the stretch goals was to add mine-cart sections to the game, so in a way, yes, however they will probably be on-rails sections and not free-roam like Nuts & Bolts was.

Re: Req. for the game

We will have an approximate idea of the system requirements as soon as the Toybox is released. That's not coming until the end of the year, long after it's time to choose whether you want the game on console or PC. I think the Toybox demo will be PC-only, so it will still be useful to check the pot...

Re: DLC discussion

Out of curiosity, what do most companies do with their DLC that has given it such a bad reputation? I like having the little extra to fill the gap between big releases, but it would appear that this is not the actually the way DLC is made. Day one DLC that consists of content that's already been ma...

Re: Game of Thrones fans

I bought the books recently since I had gift cards I needed to use before they expired. I plan to get around to reading them soon.

Hopefully.

If I don't get side-tracked by other things...

Never seen the show though, might have to do that too... After I start reading the books, though...

Re: Just noticed something

I'm going to guess that Playtonic will have one of the Kickstarter reward survey questions be "What name would you like us to use for you in the game's credits?". In the event someone submits a name that they can't put in the credits (for example, obscenities), they could probably fall bac...

Re: Add-On Store

That's not how Kickstarter works. I've backed some campaigns that had decided part-way through their campaign to open up an "add-on store" to allow backers to increase their pledge amount in order to get extras of items or to get an item that wasn't included in the tier they backed at for...

An evil robotic being known as Mike Row Sawft imprisons a group of fighters, toads, agents, bears, a bird and squirrels among other beings, sucks the soul from them and holds them prisoner within Cross-Block. Re: Proper voices as a stretch goal

Concern #1 is that the game is officially being localized in 5 different languages, each would require its own spoken dialog recorded for the game. Of course, this could be addressed by setting the stretch goal amount high enough to cover the costs of hiring voice talent and renting a recording stu...

Re: MIDI-Music-Option?

As one such backer, I can assure you I'm fully aware that the N64 cart won't play in an actual N64. I can't speak for others, though, but I certainly hope anyone actually planning to hand over that kind of cash knows all they're getting for it is a recycled N64 cart containing a 64GB flash drive (wh...

Re: Have people forgotten Playtonic are not idiots?

I understand there's lots of you that liked the way BK sounded originally. But remember I still used orchestral instruments BK was mostly like that just poor quality samples due to memory restraints. If you listen back to BK you'll notice that There were a few non orchestral instruments, but not ma...
