The progression is just amazing ... the only thing I really miss are those thematically adjusted surroundings of a world entrance area like in BK and Tooie but hey its only 4 months ago, they started to work on Yooka-Laylee ... soo excited !!!
The only thing I didnt liked in Donkey Kong 64 was that the npc characters had no depht. The worlds where so lifeless , not like in Banjo-Kazooie or Tooie, where you can find silly characters in each corner of each world. But in DK64 there was to less characters and they all felt like random npcs no...
I would really love to see: - something like DKC a 2D platformer - an adventure fun racer like Diddy Kong Racing - something like Conker's Bad Fur Day, a mature adventure platformer but with a cute and fury main hero probably a skunk - maybe something like smash bros. but im not sure - Ohh and an ad...
As much I love the Click Clock Wood world, in my opinion the idea with the four seasons should stay in Banjo-Kazooie. But I would be really interested if these multiple theme mechanic would be again presented in Yooka-Laylee but in a different way.
Im not sure about the term "Ocean", I would rather say water world, because it should be a very unique water based world in Yooka-Laylee, creative and different than other water based worlds in other platformers. I am really hoping the water world in Yooka-Laylee will be something suprisin...
I really loved StarFox Adventures because it felt like Zelda OOT, also those travel sections where you need to fly the arwing to another locations was a nice addition and reference to the classic StarFox games on the SNES and N64 which felt much smother and better in the case of gameplay than StarFo...
I want some worlds that Rare hasn't done before. Factory is probably the most boring one you can come up with. Space world - low gravity and alien enemies Bug world - shrink down to the size of a bug and use them as platforms Circus world - traverse around various circus-related obstacles I am also...
Banjo-Tooie in Grunty Industries was a locked female toilet where a rabbit worker talking about his crappy problems. I found a video on youtube with stuff like that in BK/BT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR0Byz4O9M8
I like the design myself, but my brother is very bothered by the fact that the environment at this point re-uses assets waaaay too much. We're both unsure if some of those reused assets (blocky rocks for instance) are placeholders of if the game will indeed have such a uniform design. sure the desi...
Is every one fine with those floating blocky platforms ? For me it doe's not really feel like the worlds in Banjo-Kazooie instead more like in Super Mario or Super Mario Galaxy games. It looks like those floating platforms will be not only in the jungle world ... or maybe they use them now because o...
I dont really like those floating platforms, they remind me to much on Mario Galaxy games kinda makes the worlds very generic if they would be used in each world. But I think they just use them to demonstrate some ingame things just in an very early stage but on the other side they are presented in ...
No mazes please or labyrinths please. Banjo-Kazooie had two mazes, one in Mad Monster Mansion and one in Gobi's Valley and Tooie had one in Glittergulch Mine but I just choosed the name for the world suggestion because of the pipes which I meantioned, the world should not have pipe mazes. MMM was f...
I hope the designs are something like this. http://orig07.deviantart.net/d7ad/f/2015/094/4/a/silly_speculations___a_project_ukulele_what_if_by_blue_paint_sea-d8ofcxw.png This artist did very nice drawings for character predictions. :D Even if the official designs are different, whether by a lot or ...
