i refuse to let what has happened ruin my experience. on april 11th i'm gonna wake up, eat breakfast, boot up computer, keep a tab open for my e-mail, kiss my girlfriend, get e-mail, get code, open steam, put code in, download game, play game and get my socks blown off at how my 2-3 years of waiting...

I refuse to let the madhouse that is the steam forums ruin my hype for this game. i have waited, what, 2-3 years? and then this debacle shows up? im going to play this game on april 11rh,and watch all the praise this game gets. because honestly, i refuse to let controversy spawning THIS soon before ...

this whole debacle with jim and jon just mere WEEKS before the game finally launches.
as someone who has waited 2-3 years for this since backing on kickstarter, i refuse to let the madhouse ruin my hype.

less hope? nah. given how the trailers of yl (that shows off gameplay, not just pre-rendered pr bs)and the video that shows off the demo world.... i can safely say this will NOT turn out ANYTHING like mighty no. 9. i mean even though it's just a demo it looks beautiful. and something i can look back...

there was already a whole topic on that. but i feel like if theres gonna be cheats id like it to be like banjo-tooie. enter them in to add them to a list (that saves so you don't have to re-enter) and toggle on the ones you want.

theres a temple theme in dk64 and bt (angry aztek and mayahem temple).

perhaps they're starting with 5 planned and adding more as the project goes on?

wouldn't mind some form of progress report on the status of the game. it's the middle of march and no word on the toybox++ (which i backed at that tier) since they announced it would be delayed. i have no doubt in my mind the game will meet and even exceed expectations, given the pedigree of the tea...

personally, i want a cheat system like in banjo tooie. where you enter cheats in and they then go to a list for you to turn them on and off. YES it was funny the first time when a villain punishes you for cheating too much by deleting your save. but honestly, it stopped being funny and more annoying...

yes! cheats should be in game!
and not like the xblas cheat system either that punishes you by not letting you save. disable achievements, let us save man!

I want as diverse worlds as possible. tropical islands, cities, forests, mountains, jungles, haunted manors, oceans..... as well as some odd ones i cant think about.... like maybe a b sci-fi movie or a technicolor cartoon... ... basically with yooka-laylee i want to see it packed with as much detail...

as massive as possible without sacrificing platforming and without levels feeling barren!
