Like in Banjo Tooie, interconnecting worlds would be pretty neat too, with passages linking between the worlds that can serve as shortcuts later in the game, or be used to further the plot.
DLC when done correctly is brilliant. Criterion Games did a brilliant job with Burnout Paradise. They rebuilt the whole game several times over providing new content and none of it originally shipped with the game, nor was it planned. Community demand on a forum not unlike this inspired the whole th...
I can't say I was a fan of the life limit in BK. It sort of fell by the wayside though especially when you were sitting with 7+ lives and the counter was just ignored 90% of the time for me. The Tooie system I felt was a lot better. (Simpler too)
I think we'll need to wait and see. People have Wii U consoles at the moment, so what would probably be the best move would be to go for Wii U and current platforms, then port a version from PS4, PC or Xbox to the new Nintendo if it's specs match up.
If they had stuck with the old formula we'd have had BK3 by now, however they did what they thought was right at the time. I just hope that if they continue with the franchise that they learn from their mistakes rather than alienate people further. I agree that making it a spin-off entirely would po...

It's fun, customisable, and actually has a plot which most games in the genre completely circumvent. It also fol...
For the Playtonic website I think that there should be a tab that links to "forums" just like there are tabs for "news", "contact", "team", ect. That way more people could find out about and join the forums, seeing as they are kind of hard to find now... That...
What is it about games like Banjo Kazooie that you can't get from other genres? If you strip away all the flashy visuals, music, aesthetics etc, what is the core appeal of these games in terms of gameplay? What makes you enjoy playing them? Usually a decent plot, enjoyable activities and a novel ch...
Until we know more it's hard to make any assumptions or generalisations on what we can expect from NX & their mobile plans. It could really go any way at this early point. I'm just hoping they don't pull an NGage and make a travesty of a mobile system. Some nice apps that aren't "Pay to Win...
