Re: Revealing Content Before the Release.

i agree, i hated that i couldnt use the internet without smash spoilers, then N themselves spoiled it, im the kind of guy who enjoys finding out for himself whos in the game. i really hope i dont find out to much before its out, because i think this could be the perfect genre for discovery.

Re: If there's a beta (Early Access), would you play it?

I am really looking forward to having a "play it together!" experience This is a good point. Wouldn't it be amazing if there were no alpha versions/early realeases at all. I've always found it a bit amateurish when indie companies do this on a grand scale by handing the game out to loads ...

Re: Day 1 Multiplatform Release? Hell yeah!

It's a Unity 5 game if I'm not mistaken. Unity markets itself as an engine that is very easy to export on many different platforms. I don't know how easy it actually is, marketing is marketing, but it's probably much easier than with in house engines. So I could easily believe in a day 1 multiplatf...

Re: Online Multiplayer?

i dont think multiplayer lends itself to this type of game, i wouldnt mind to see it, but honestly i would much rather a perfect single player, or even couch coop, but i dont think ill be using online much if they did

Re: Instrumental music

I understand what you say, so let's state they do what they can depending on the budget they take in May. Maybe the best answer is using both: some levels with instrumental sound, some others with nostalgia samples. I was thinking more along the lines of the entire soundtrack being composed of two ...

Re: Similarities to scaler

What do you mean by this exactly? i just mean that, they way they were talking about the game, just reminded me of that I've personally not heard of Scaler and I don't think it has any connection. So far we've only seen some beautiful screenshots and a tiny glimpse of a green-faced hero. It could b...

Re: IP collaborations you want to see Playtonic do in the fu

Re: Keep a tight rein on fan input

i 100% agree, its a sort of joke that we have with eachother, that people have no idea what they want, sometimes you have to read between the lines. while community input is very important, its also important to remember you are the designers, and we are the players.

Re: Split-up Multiplayer?

its not quite that simple, while code wise, it is fairly easy to add coop, its very hard to design a world with the idea that, both 2 players can navigate it together, and a single person can do the same with the same quality of play, an easy way to bypass that is to have a separate campaign for coo...

Re: A hat in time (Hat kid?) cameo?

Great idea! Kinda like how Mario World had a Sonic cameo. Or when Mac had that Windows cameo. Or when that journalist had a cameo in the ISIS video. i think you have the wrong idea, just because there similar and inspired by the same games, doesnt in anyway mean there competing, in fact i think its...

Re: Should this game involve flight?

I greatly anticipated flying in Banjo Kazooie games, but that's because I was playing with a bird character! It seemed like a natural progression i agree, i think flying was really fun in bk but it just might not have room in uk, if they do find a good way to make it fit i would be glad to see it t...

Similarities to scaler

so most of you will most likely not of heard of this game, but it was a title on the ps2 that didnt sell to well, it was an amazing 3d platformer, and the world is occupied by lizards and variants of that kind. as i saw the images and heard them talking about uk, it sounds alot like it, is it just c...

Re: Diddy Kong Racing Esque game in the future?

[quote="Taylor" I love the kart racing genre. I think Playtonic could make an exceptionally fun one that could possibly include a little bit more of an 'adventure' element than just a pure Mario Kart racing clone. The priority would be making a fun game -- character selection isn't everyth...

Re: Let's be real: Give us Stop N' Swop.

Well, there's no way that I'm gonna read Ukulele specific discussions on internet until I'm 101% done with it myself. So I'm not bothered by it, no risk of being spoiled this way. yea that would be smart, but i kind of want to be here, with other fans to share the experience around, but thats just me
