Re: Mystery: 'G50' (What's inside?)

What lies behind that door is not meant to be seen by mortal eyes, it would drive you mad if you saw what kind of disturbing secret is hidden in there. It's best to leave it alone and think of happy thoughts. Lol

Re: Glitterglaze Glacier gameplay! (gameplay spoilers within)

I had a nostalgic moment when I saw the Ice Key. Will we finally found out what the Ice Key was for? :o If you mean the original idea for the Ice Key that got canned and not how it was handled in Banjo-Tooie, then no. I think it's just a reference and nothing more, but there may be some unique item...

Re: The full Swamp World Artwork

That building vaguely resembles Mumbo's house, specifically the one from Banjo-Tooie. I wonder if Dean Wilson had that in mind while drawing the concept art, or did it unintentionally like with the face carved into the mountainside artwork.

Re: A removed world?

Maybe there's a secret world in Yooka-Laylee that unlocks after collecting a bunch of items like in Donkey Kong Country 2. Probably not, but it would be nice if that were the case.

Re: Capital Cashino's transformation

This transformation will definitely come in handy, and knowing Playtonic, there's most likely a pun involving the word 'ballistic' being made by either Laylee or Yooka.

Re: Difficulty level in Yooka-Laylee

The difficulty would probably be the same as the first two Banjo games were. Meaning most of the Pagies/Quills are easy to obtain, while others are a bit harder to collect. But you never know that there might be a race in Y-L that's even more difficult than the race with Canary Mary in Cloud Cuckool...

Agreed. I also would like to see a spiritual successor to Kameo from Playtonic in the future.

Re: Playtonic's next project

Currently there are twenty-one (full-time) employees working on Yooka-Laylee at Playtonic Games. And depending on how well the game will sell, they could start the formation of a second team - which would allow them to release two games in 2019 (assuming both games take two years of development to ...

Re: Playtonic's next project

Okay how big is Playtonic right now? I lost track of the number of employees and their move to yet another bigger office sounds like they're ramping up for a second dev team... Currently there are twenty-one (full-time) employees working on Yooka-Laylee at Playtonic Games. And depending on how well...
