Re: Jon Jafari (JonTron) and his role in Yooka-Laylee

locking the thread will only accomplish making angry people angrier. And spread it out more, I'm telling you to just let this run it's course. Ive seen it happen over and over again with various controversies. the mroe you lock threads, the more you ban unpopular opinions, the more you try to shut t...

"I don't think there is any discussion to be had here; I am so tempted to lock this thread." Thank you for making my point! XD I get your points above but you need to let people vent. whether you agree or not, this is the only way it will stop. If you close one topic on this matter another...

Re: Jon Jafari (JonTron) and his role in Yooka-Laylee

Sad thing is if they just kept quiet, or even quietly removed jontron's voice nobody would have noticed and they would have probably avoided all this stress. By taking the time to make an announcement they directly politicized their game. It comes off (unintentionally I imagine) as virtue signaling ...

Re: Your Favorite Rare Games

Banjo-Kazooie and the first 2 Donkey kong country games. I did I didn't include Donkey Kong Country 3 because these developers didn't work on Donkey Kong Country 3. By that time they were working on dream, and another team at rare worked on Donkey Kong Country 3. Which is probably why it had a sligh...

Re: Playtonic developing other external franchises and I.P?

Well I hope that Playtonic continues to grow and hire more extraordinary talent. I like their idea of having small teams of 15-20 people work on games so ideally I would like to think they could have 4 teams of 20 working on different projects. 2 for Playtonic originals, and 2 for licenced games. So...

absolutely blown away by everything revealed in the magazine. I can't wait to see what other things they are going to tease in the near future and at E3.

Re: Young Conker

I'm in complete disbelief....not only did they give Conker the UGLIEST redesign ever, not even utilizing his design from twelve tales. But they make this game for a $3000 dollar peripheral that most likely will end up like the kinect.

What were they thinking!?! :|

Re: Young Conker

Interesting, that would make a lot of sense. Plus I'm wondering if they're trying to make conker more accessible to a greater audience. If you look at games like ratchet and clank or jak and Daxter they are games with a lot of adult themes while still appealing to a bigger audience. I don't know, I ...

Young Conker

Anybody else notice the whole slew of articles detailing a leaked game called Young Conker?

It was taken down rather quickly. It also strangely has a teen rating. :/

Re: Reare Revealed: Dream

The super nintendo version of Dream is definitely the superior version for me. That game looked absolutely amazing! It was fun seeing it's evolution into Banjo-Kazooie, had that concept not been scrapped we would never have know what is arguably Rare's greatest IP. I gotta say I had always viewed Se...

Re: Not quite Playtonic, but Banjo N&B anyone?

I said it before and I'll say it again. I'd be absolutely okay with playtonic doing a spiritual sequel to nuts&bolts so long as it features some new characters as the stars. Like i could imagine cartoony robot protagonists building things for challanges etc.

I think that would be cool! :D

Re: New Character revealed: Rextro SixtyFourus

I absolutely love this character! I love all the detail they put into making Rextro look like he belongs in a bygone era of gaming and the interlaced lines on him help seal that. Looking at the early concept art of him I would have loved for them to have kept the tie as a reference to DK, but the Pl...

This is awesome!
With a bigger office they can have more people working on this game. Not to mention they will eventually have enough people to have small teams working on multiple projects at once!

Re: Metroid Federation Force and Blast Ball : Your opinion

When I saw the trailer in the digital event I thought to myself "oh cool you can play as thr federation in this game". I felt the trailer was kinda "meh" and I figured Nintendo might reveal a Metroid Prime for the WiiU sometime after. I already knew that the Metroid fanbase was g...

Aren't we close to £2,000,000 now?
Looking at the kickstarter and factoring in paypal donations there should be around £10,000 to go!
