Re: The "True" or "Good" Ending.

The 100% complete ending could include references to the next game; it doesn't have to be a sequel, but literally any Playtonic game, because all the characters have been confirmed to connect to each others worlds. That's perfect! The 100% complete endings could be like the after-credits scenes in ...

Re: Will a goldfish tap the side of his bowl three times?

Actually I would love that intro. One could reasonably assume he was about to tap a third time, only to be interrupted by his untimely demise....

Re: Will a goldfish tap the side of his bowl three times?

Why not just have something new and "Playtonic-y". There will be something greater, in every Playtonic game.... Of course we'll love all the new and Playtonic-y things in the game, but the reason people like the goldfish idea is because it's a nice homage to Rare (who had a habit of putti...

Re: Day/Night Cycle?

I'm not a particularly huge fan of day/night cycles. The short duration makes them feel extremely artificial and takes me out of the experience, sort of defeating the purpose. Now, if they had one world in particular where you could switch between day and night via time travel (like Click Clock Wood...

Re: Questions regarding a port for the Nintendo 3DS

If they do make a 3DS exclusive game, I think it should be a 2D overhead adventure game like Conker's Pocket Tales or Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge. Or maybe give it 3D graphics like A Link Between Worlds while still having that classic overhead gameplay.

Re: Boss Fights? (And an Eight-Legged Boss Idea)

I wonder if any of the bosses will become playable characters in a future game. Maybe one of them could be a normal sized character who transforms into a giant monster, and his future game could involve the gameplay mechanic of transforming into a giant monster to destroy stuff.

Re: Kickstarter for a Newbie

I don't think it will be much of a gamble in this case, though. I can't imagine this game not getting huge amounts of support. Especially if a Wii U version is offered.

Re: Sub-Worlds

I think sub-worlds sound like they could be cool. Are there any other 3D platformers that have made good use of this concept?

Re: Questions regarding a port for the Nintendo 3DS

As long as this is on Wii U and I can play it on the gamepad, that'll take care of my handheld Ukulele needs just fine.

Re: Level-specific costumes

That's what I thought of too. It seems like a closer comparison than Mario Party 2, since it's also a 3D platformer starring a lizard.

I think I would like animal transformations better than any inanimate object transformations. And there are still lots of animals yet to be transformed into.

Re: Conker’s Big Reunion coming to Project Spark April 23rd

Yeah it's not "a device to sell Project Spark". If anything something like Halo, Fable, or Banjo-Kazooie would be more suited to that task. The reason Team Dakota chose Conker is because they are fans of the franchise and they knew that no one else is gonna bother doing anything with him. ...

Re: Amiibo!!! OH MY GOSH !

I have an idea. How about have the Donkey Kong amiibo give the character a coconut gun, and the Diddy Kong amiibo give the character a pair of peanut popguns? I think a DK64 reference would be particularly fitting, since it was also a sort of spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. Anyway, I assume th...

Re: Solid Lizard

To be honest, this makes me kind of worried. I liked the older games because they were fun platformers, having stealth sections just seems like it could be very jarring and forced for the genre. The only thing I can imagine right now is something akin to that one minigame from DK64 where you had to...

Re: What did you think of Nuts and Bolts?

I dont understand how people are saying "if you imagine it as NOT a Banjo game then its a fantastic game" ... it REALLY Isn't. The vehicle physics were terrible the gruntbots made the game unrealistically frustrating and the challenges were way too boring and repetative. The fun thing abo...

Re: Main Henchwoman: Tying Project Ukulele to Banjo's univer

I'd love any and all connections to B-K that they could legally get away with, and this seems like it could be a clever one if done right.

As for that picture...I think I'm gonna need some alone time..........
