Re: Suggestion Reference List

Don't forget the thread that suggests the inclusion of an unnamed goldfish who taps his bowl three times.

This game could really use one of those.

Re: Favourite Rare XBOX title

I've loved all the Xbox releases save for Kinect Sports, but Kameo is my absolute favorite. I wish it got a sequel.

Re: KickStarter

The larger the budget the more awesome they can make the game. Just because they have the funds to make a barebones experience doesn't mean they can't use more. I like that they are being upfront about the fact that they plan to make the game no matter what. They could be like "You get nothing ...

True. I think it's more fun if it has a story element, though.

Re: Bottle's Revenge?

I would love for them to revive this concept! Though, I wonder how they would implement it in an organic way. With Bottles we'd already spent an adventure with him in the original game and then they had him die in the sequel, giving a ghost character a logical presence in the story. How would this c...

Re: How much will YOU pledge?

I want to pledge at least a hundred bucks, hopefully more. Of course, if an unnamed goldfish who taps his bowl three times appears as one of the stretch goals then I'll be forced to empty as much of my bank account as I can afford.

Re: Spiritual Homages/Cameos ?

Of course I think the best homage would be the inclusion of an unnamed goldfish who taps on his bowl three times. However, it would also be neat if someone in the game made a vague comment about "a bear and a bird who passed through here a while back".

Re: Characters should age over time

I agree. I love when games have characters age between installments. However, I also think it should be done in a very controlled fashion. After all, you've got to allow for the possibility that these games will hopefully become successful franchises, and you want the characters to last a long while...

Re: Character design?

The top silhouette appears to be some kind of pointy eared creature with its head turned in such a way that one ear is closer to the screen than the other. Is it a cat, maybe?

Re: Will a goldfish tap the side of his bowl three times?

I'd imagine a goldfish would actually be very good at Kinect, considering how much they tend to flail around.

Re: High-level world design in Ukulele

I have to wonder that now, in an era when games are downloaded from eShops and Steam, and stored on a local harddrive without the need for cartridges and discs... wouldn't it theoretically be possible to seamlessly switch from one game to another? Maybe a bit of loading spinning up in the backgroun...

It's a group of games that have direct character ties leading back to Donkey Kong Country.

Re: Careful With Competition

I'm extremely hyped for both Lobodestroyo and A Hate in Time, and FreezeMe looks cool too. I'm ecstatic that we're getting all these new indie developed 3D platformers (including that weird "Spooky Poo's Happy Hell" game, which wasn't mentioned but looks rather intriguing), even though non...
