You know nothing about how their code base is built or maintained so you absolutely can not make "just a few lines of code" statements. For all we know, their code is a bowl of spaghetti with every piece tied to another. It's probably not, but without being a member of the team that statement is impossible to make.

Difficulty of a change is relevant. Especially since the topic is "make this change for me". And again, unless you're in direct contact with the code base you can never make "this change is easy" statements. Assume it is complicated unless told otherwise.
